Prologue

"Look at this, Cas."

Hinarap ko sa kaniya ang screen ng phone ko. I was scrolling through Lazada app. I was so bored and I don't know what to do.

May nakita akong maganda damit doon kaya naisipan kong ipakita sa kaibigan. Baka gusto niya ring bumili.

Pinalo niya ang braso ko. "Budol na naman 'yan, Zy."

"Hindi, tanga!" pakikipag-away ko pa.

"Sumbong kita kay tito, sige ka!" pananakot niya pa.

"I'm spoiled to my dad, Cassie." I smirked. Minsan nagiging career ko na talaga ang pagsisinungaling.

I read the reviews from that shop. Hindi magaganda ang sinasabi ng mga buyers. Hindi raw maaayos ang mga damit na pinapadala nila. It's not a good idea to buy on this shop. Mayaman ang pamilya ko, we can say that, pero hindi naman ako magsasayang ng pera sa bagay na hindi naman worth it. Besides, hindi naman sa akin iyon.

I heaved a sigh. Binitawan ko ang phone sa sofa. Sayang naman, type ko pa naman 'yong mga gano'ng tops. I pouted.

"Oh, napano?"

"Hindi goods yung seller."

"Negats," umiiling-iling na sabi niya. "Kaya wala akong tiwala sa mga online shops na ganiyan."

Muli kong dinampot ang phone ko. I just scrolled through my news feed. Sana naman ay may maganda namang lumabas dito. May madaanan man lang sana akong matinong post, hindi 'yong puro mga couples na sobrang corny magbanatan sa fb.

"Beh!" tinapik niya ang braso ko.

"What?" iritang tanong ko. "Bakit ba kailangan mo pang tapikin ang braso ko?"

"Trip ko, e. Bakit?"

I rolled my eyes heaven wards. Ugh! She's so annoying.

Kung sina Isha at Icy ang kasama ko, paniguradong ako pa ang mang-aasar at hindi ako ang naasar, dipende na lang kung sisingit sa usapan si Demi. Hinding-hindi patatalo ang isang iyon pagdating sa bangayan.
