Think now, which story have you listened to or read that had the saddest beginning? Can you think of any? If you can, then be prepared for a new story to beat the one that your thinking of because, this story will start off very brutally.
This story starts off in a city called Marcov City. there was an Orphanage called merry-weather orphanage. In the orphanage, there were many kids. They all loved the orphanage and never wanted to leave. Every child loved merry-weather, all except for one child. She was treated very horribly. They would beat her till her dazzling red blood started to show, left her hungry, never let her interact with other kids, and was only to do chores, and if not done right, she would be punished. The worst part out of all of this, is the fact that the 13 yr old girl could never fight back, and when she did, they would hit her. All she could do was hold the hate she felt for the headmaster of the Orphanage, Headmaster Bendel, and her name, was 0116.
MARCH 2ND
* after finishing the chores and being beaten for a "sloppy" job*
well, 0116, your job was extremely horrible today, must you need to be disciplined more to do better?
well, maybe thinking of your face got me in a bad mood-
WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU BRAT!?
*smacked her*
I wonder why you have not killed yourself already. If you did, you would have done a favor for us and yourself, even for the rest of the world. Your existence is a nuisance to us all

Tch. I would punish you more but today I must be the one to pick up the mail so I do not have time for you. go to sleep for now you brat.
* headmaster Bendel leaves*
0116 started to think. Why has she not killed herself yet? Her life seemed hopeless did it not? it would be soon when the Headmaster decides to get rid of her, so why? Why does she continue to fight when she can be resting in heaven, away from all the torture, why? that is something she too wonders.
0116 decided to read a book. It was the only book she had, and reading was the only thing she knew how to do, other than cleaning, otherwise she was not very smart since the Headmaster never bothered to teach her like he did for the other kids. The book was about stars. One thing that caught her eye was the section of the book labeled "the shooting star".
I want to see a shooting star and make a wish. I want to be treated well like the other kids. I want to...
Tears rolled down her eyes as she said the last part of her sentence.

She heard the footsteps, it was headmaster Bendel passing her room. Quickly she cleaned her tears and heard Headmaster Bendel say something to Ms. Lawrence, his most trusted employee and partner in crime when it comes to beating 0116, that caught her attention:
Come quick to my room, it is something about 0116
She felt as if the Headmaster was probably planning to get rid of her, or assign her more work, but even so, she wanted to know, so she followed the the Headmasters room to figure this out
