"Thanks Marcel" she replied cheerfully.

We both went back to our seats and sat down.

She set down her project and it was the most beautiful scene I've ever saw.

There was a house surrounded by nothing but a horse barn and some woods.

"That's beautiful" I told her telling the truth.

"Thanks it's one of my best pieces I've done" she replied smiling with approval of her paper.

"Do you draw often?" I might as well ask her since I'm curious.

"Yes I actually have an art notebook that I take with me to some classes, but Brock

could never know that I love drawing, or that I'm good at it."

"May I ask why he can’t know?" I ask again out if curiosity.

"He can’t know because "art is for losers" as he says."

I just laugh at her air quotes. There is about five minutes left for lunch so I throw away my trash, and help (Y/n) put her project away on the top shelf again.

We go back to the table and sit down.

"It was a lot of fun eating with you Marcel."

"Thanks you too! Oh, you have an eyelash on your face" I tell her so that she can get it off.

"Oh, where is it?" she asks me. "Here I will get it for you."

I lean over a little to get the eyelash off her face when I hear

"HEY! GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY GIRLFRIEND!" Brock angrily yells at me.
