The Beginning

Once upon a time, Samantha Johnsson was married to the king of Toadstown, Harrison Jackson, for 20 years. After many years of being in love and caring for one another, at some point, both of them started drifting apart. The king was paying more attention to his work and Samantha was no longer in love with him. They fell in love when they were both in High School and got married right away when they turned 18 years old. But after 20 years, the spark between them was no longer that big, but they didn't want to split or to say anything about it. Instead, they just kept their lives going like no big deal was happening. They kept on sleeping together, having breakfast together, dinner, but the love wasn't there. Neither the sex was. It had been 4 years since the last time they had sex.

Although king Harrison Jackson was dealing with his people and didn't mind about love, Samantha on the other hand was bored and lonely inside this big castle. Love was missing from her life. This is what lead her to the biggest mistake of her life.

One day they hired 3 new gardeners. One of them, Jake Lenard, had fallen in love with the king's wife. Samantha couldn't resist his flirting. He was very gentle, polite, and incredibly nice. His romantic, secretive, moves, made him irresistible in her eyes. Soon they started having an affair in secret. Whenever the coast was clear, they would fall into the bushes and make out for as long as possible. He offered her roses almost every morning. He made her coffee as soon as she was up and sooner than later, he wasn't just the gardener. He offered to help in other kinds of work inside the castle to be able to see her more often. Sometimes when the king was away from the castle for a few days, the two of them would even have a shower together. He took care of her a lot and everything seemed like heaven to Samantha. She finally had what was missing in her life. Her eyes were blind and she couldn't see anything besides her and him together forever.
