Zu was glad of Ro's company. Even though the pharmacy was right across the street, the line was usually relatively long, even when it was raining. The two made it to the pharmacy drenched to the bone."Babe, why didn't we bring an umbrella?" Ro laughed."I'm not entirely sure, to be honest, I don't think I have one," Zu said, facepalming. When they got in line a guy, he was tall and looked like he was probably a senior in high school, came up to Ro, ignoring the fact that Ro was holding Zu's hand, started to flirt with Ro."Hey baby what are you doin' over here in the rain?" he asked in a tone that would make anyone uncomfortable."I'm not your baby, and I'm here with my partner so he can get a refill." Ro shot back, disgust dripping from her voice."Oh I see you opted for someone who looks like a f*g, instead of someone actually deserves your curves.""Actually if anyone here is, as you said in the most colorful language, a f*g, then it's me," anger filling up Ro's voice."So you're a tr*nny then?" the guy said to Zu, Zu having not taken his anxiety meds that morning was at the verge of tears."I'd suggest you shut your fucking mouth," Ro chided. "That is if you value your existence.""I don't think I want to, and as for you're a crybaby I can already tell so let's show your pretty little girlfriend what I can do to you," he said, causing Zu to start silently crying. "See you're a crybaby," the jackass said as he hit Zu a few times after shoving Ro out of the way, and a few of his friends through a few punches too, when they finished pummeling Zu they left.A few people made it so he couldn't leave and called the cops, because that's a hate crime and also assault. Zu had passed out from the hit and a panic attack.Ro called one of his friends who could drive them to the hospital.-A/N if that seems overkill it wasn't, Zu hadn't woken up, and it sounded like one of his bones had broken-
