Chapter 7

"Alright, find a partner and spar with them." Karasuma-sensei instructed and everyone moved to choose their partner.

"Ne Y/n, wanna be my partner?" Karma questioned as he walked towards me with a smirk.

"Sure, just don't cry if you lose." I crossed my arms and he scoff.

"As if I would let you win."

Karasuma sensei gave us the signal to start and Karma made the first move. He charged towards me and swing the knife but I easily dodged it.

He then tried sweeping from my feet but I jumped. I then aimed for his back but he quickly turned around and caught my hand, making the knife stop few inches away from his face. I pushed him back and gave him a smirk.

"Not bad Cherry head." I complimented and he returned the smirk.

"Oh? I was about to say the same thing Long hair~" He teasingly said and I rolled my eyes.

This time, I attacked him first. I sent many attempts to get him with my knife but he dodged them all.

I then grabbed his wrist the moment he made his move and I flipped him over while pinning his arm behind his back.

"I win~" I leaned to his ear while copying his voice.

"Not yet." He smirked while showing what was on his other hand.

I widen my eyes as I saw him holding my hair. He then pulled it down and in a blink of an eye, we swapped position.

"I win~" He mocked me and I tried fighting back but his grip was stronger than me.

He then jabbed the anti-sensei on my head while smirking.

"If that was a real knife, you would have been brain dead. Get it?" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Ha ha ha, very funny." I said sarcastically as he went off me.

He offered me a hand and I took it. When I was standing, I noticed that everyone was watching us with amusement in their eyes.

Even Korosensei was shaking in fear while sweats were clearly shown on his head.

"What a scary battle..." I heard him murmuring and everyone started coming to us.

"Wow Y/n, that was an intense fight!" Kayano commented.

"Yeah, no one had managed to last more than five minutes with Karma except Karasuma-sensei." Nagisa added.

"You're amazing!" Sugino exclaimed and I felt something stirring inside me.

Is this what it means to be... happy?

"Let's go shopping!" Kayano suddenly suggested while pulling me with her and Nagisa next. "You're coming with us as well."

"Sounds fun! Let's go Karma!" Okuda asked Karma and Karma sigh.

"Why not, I have nothing to do anyway." Karma answered.

"I'll come too!" Kanzaki exclaimed as she went after us with Rio behind her.

"Guess I'll tag along." Rio stated and I slightly smiled.

So this is what it feels like to have friends

When we got to the mall, we decided to separate with the boys and meet up later.

Me and the girls did a lot of shopping. I got new clothes, make-up, shoes and many more. I was even wearing the new *insert favourite top* that I just bought then we stop in front of a barber shop.

"So are you going to do it?" Kayano asked me and I stared at the sign for a while.

"It's such a smooth, silky hair. It would be a waste if you get it cut." Okuda gave me a pout and I chuckled.

"Don't worry, it will grow and I'm sure you will like my new hairstyle too." I said confidently as I entered the shop.

I was actually nervous, I got used to my long hair for five years without getting it cut. I then remembered how Karma defeated me and I don't want that mistake to happen again.

"I like a new hairstyle please." I told the guy and he examine my hair before smiling.

I looked at his name tag and it says 'Marvin'

"Leave it to me, by the time I finish you won't even recognize yourself." He commented and I sat down.

"Whoa Y/n, is that you! I almost couldn't recognize you!" Kayano's eyes sparkled as soon as she saw me.

I smiled at her, knowing Marvin was right. Even I almost couldn't recognize myself when I look into the mirror.

"Not bad, maybe I should get my hair cut too." Rio stated and I chuckled.

"Nah, your hair is perfect the way it is." I pointed out and she smiled.

"Your long hair... your long hair is gone!" Okuda sulked and I patted her head.

"Like what I told you, it will grow again." I assured her then flipped my hair. "Now let's go see the boys."

Nagisa's POV

I continuesly pressed the button to make a combo attack, and then used the special skill to deal a high damage on Karma's character but he still found a way to defeat mine.

"Aw, I was so close." I muttered and Karma chuckled while ruffling my hair.

"Don't worry, you'll get me next time~" He teased and I pouted.

I then widen my eyes and looked at him.

"Speaking of next time, aren't you going to tell her?" I asked him and his smirk suddenly faded away.

"Eh, I'll let her figure it out. I'm sure it's her way of getting back to me. After all, I did pranked her almost everyday before." There was a mixture of confusion in his voice and I knew what he meant.

"Don't worry, I'm sure Okuda will-" I was cut off when someone suddenly pushed me out of the way.

"Oh my gosh it's King of Fighters, I've always wanted to try this!" Y/n exclaimed as she stared at the screen.

"Hey guys." Okuda greeted and Karma stared at her for a while before looking away.
