Mr. Elfman held auditions in his classroom, with several of my friends participating. He played instrumental versions of the songs for assistance. I was cast as a Sweet Transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania previously portrayed by Tim Curry in the original play and movie, and by Laverne Cox in the 2016 version. I had memorized all the song lyrics and dialogue for the characters in the musical and the movie.
The final cast read as:
Aven Lostaunau as Dr. Frank-N-Furter: A Scientist
Luther Hargreeves as Brad Majors: A Hero
Allison Hargreeves as Janet Weiss: A Heroine
Roy Mustang as Riff Raff: A handyman
Riza Hawkeye as Magenta: A Domestic
Haruhi Suzumiya: as Colombia: A Groupie
Giorno Giovanna as Rocky Horror: An Experiment
Gerard Way as Eddie: Ex Delivery boy
Mr. Elfman as Dr. Everett Von Scott: A rival Scientist
Phoenix Wright as the Criminologist: An ExpertAnd various students as Transylvanians
The list was accurate
"Aven I need help developing the stages."
"Mr. Elfman why not use the holo-stage." I suggested. "It's brand new."
"What does the holo-stage do?"
"It creates realistic holograms and uses them to recreate a setting for a scene." I explain and would save the school time from having to make sets to destroy.
OK. I'll make it look like the 1975 movie version"
