Part 5: The Talk

COLE'S POV:

Every since I found out y/n was gonna be apart of this movie I was excited to see her again. I want to fix out relationship. I might have ruined my chance of being lovers but maybe just friends for now.

But I've decided that today I was gonna talk to her and make things right. As people started leaving I didn't know how to start a conversation.

Everyone has left and y/n was getting up to leave. Here goes nothing. "Y/n wait" I blurted.

Y/N POV:

As I turned back around to face Cole I replied "ok what?" For a good second we just stared at each. It was kind of nice. But then he broke the silence and said "I'm sorry"

He said that as if it was his fault, and it wasn't. A few weeks after that night I came to realization that it was my fault. And I should never have done what I did.

"Why are you sorry, you did nothing wrong" I finally replied to him. "I overreacted and I should have been understanding" he said back looking to the ground "it was my fault, I got drunk and did.. well you know" I said as we both chuckled.

"But seriously I-" I said but Cole cut me off by saying "what if we just agree that we're even?" I was confused and asked "how would we be even?"

He sat there for a second then turned to me and said "you have to take me to dinner" I had no idea that would come out of his mouth. But I said "it would be my pleasure."

We decided that I would pick him up around 8:30 tomorrow night. We don't start rehearsing the movie till next week so we have time.

As we both got up to leave the cafe he walked me to my car. I gave him a hug and he hugged back. "Guess I'll see you tomorrow then" I said opening my car door" "see you then y/n" he said back.

Before I could sit down in my car. Cole grabbed the side of my waist and kissed my cheek. As he started to walk off, he turned to me, winked, and said "there's more where that came from"

I sat down in my car seat. All those old feelings came rushing back to me. I was so excited for this "date" I guess you could say.

I drove home and read over the script and highlighted my lines. Watched some TV then went to bed.

I'm so sorry this part is so short. Tomorrow will be the date. I promise I will write more tomorrow. I didn't have as much time today but I will have more time to write tomorrow and the next day. Thank you guys!
