Part 9: With the Family

Y/N POV:

Ever since Cole and I started dating it has been such a great feeling. I missed spending time with him so much.

Today were gonna hang out at his house. I'm a little scared though because his whole family is gonna be there. I haven't seen them since the last time we dated.

COLE'S POV:
This has to be perfect. It's the first time my family is gonna be with us. And everything that has happened in the past. I just don't want y/n to worry about it.

~~later that night~~

Y/N POV:

I finally arrived at Cole's house. I decided to wear something cute but comfy. So I decided to wear a cropped light pink hoodie, with some black sweat pants.

As I knock on the front door I was greeted by Melanie(Cole's mom) She invited me in the house where I saw Cole, Dylan, and their dad.

Cole quickly got up and started walking towards me. "Hello beautiful" he said as he took me hand and started walking me towards everyone else.

I said hi to everyone and then we went to Cole's room as his mom was finishing making dinner.

We were just talking and having fun. Then Dylan walked in the room. My face went from smiling to Oh Shit! "Hey guys" Dylan said. "What do you want" Cole said back. "I just wanted to say hi, I mean I haven't seen y/n in like years" Dylan said offended. "Well then, hi" I sad awkwardly. "Ok well uh- dinner is gonna be ready in 10 minutes" Dylan said as he walked out of the room. "Ok thanks" Cole said.

As Dylan left we both looked at each other and laughed. I guess that wasn't as bad as I anticipated it to be. After a little bit we walked down stairs.

We sat down at the table. Cole sat next to me and grabbed my hand making me feel more at ease. I think he knew I felt kind of in the wrong place. But he always made me feel better. Their dad left for something I'm not really sure. But Melanie sat across from me. And Dylan sat across from Cole.

"Alright well dig in guys" Melanie said as she put the last dish on the table. It was kind of awkward at first but later it got better.

As we were eating we had some conversation going. "So how is the movie going?" asked Melanie. "Good" Cole said with his mouth full. "We just finished going through and blocking the whole movie. And we are gonna start filming later this week." I said

After dinner I offered to help clean but Melanie insisted that I go spend time with Cole. I love her, we used to be so close she always felt like my other mom.

Cole and I went back to his room. We laughed and joked around. We ended up watching a cheesy romantic movie. Which I picked out of course. We cuddled and I felt so loved by this guy.

Cole has always been something I was missing when we broke up last time. I missed this. The movie ended and me and Cole were still snuggled together. I was half asleep, but I still knew when Cole would look at me and kiss my forehead. He is so sweet. I'm pretty sure he was one his phone or something but he just let me sleep. Even though I was using his chest as my pillow he didn't mind.

Then Melanie walked in. I was still half asleep but could still kind of tell what was going on. She walked in and said "Hey guy-" but she was cut off by Cole saying "shhhh y/n asleep" I love this guy so much. "Oh sorry" Melanie whispered. "You really love her don't you" Melanie then said. Which made me smile on the inside. "Of course I do" Cole said kissing my forehead. Which made me smile even more. "Ok well I'll let you cuties sleep, breakfast will be waiting you in the morning" Melanie said started to walk out. "Thanks mom" Cole said. Then Melanie shut the door and walked out.

After that I actually feel asleep. I guess I didn't sleep for long cause I woke up and Cole was still awake. "Your still awake" I said while I started to sit up. "I was waiting for you" Cole said back. "Waiting for me for what" I said back confused. "In case you didn't you want to sleep over here, and if it got to late I would wake you up" he said back. "Of course I want to have a sleepover with you" I said making the both of us laugh. "I'm glad" he said as I layed my head back down on his chest. "I love you y/n" Cole said while looking down at me. "I love you too Cole" I said while I looked up at him. We both smiled then kissed.

Then we both snuggled in close and fell asleep. I want to spend the rest of my like like this. I hope he does too.
