Mistake

6: after

"hyung......I wanna see yigyeommie" Mingyu said, the first thing after he woke up.

"gyu.....later okay? rest more....." Seungcheol said.

"I rested enough! I wanna see him....." Mingyu pouted.

"please.....?" Seungcheol and Minghao looked away.

Mingyu looked at Seokmin.

"aish!" Seokmin carefully helped Mingyu out of bed and brought him to the newborn room.

Mingyu placed his hands on the glass window as Seokmin pointed to one of the incubators.

"that's yigyeommie's......." Mingyu cranes his head to look.

Mingyu saw nurses walking around.

"miss, can he enter to take a look at his baby.....?" Seokmin asked a nurse who just came out.

"yes but please wear scrubs first before coming in...." the two wore scrubs and entered the newborn room.

Mingyu's heart thumped as he neared his newborn son's incubator.

They stopped in front of the incubator and Mingyu looked into the incubator at a distance, the window separating him and baby Yigyeom.

Tears came to his eyes and he wiped it away hastily.

"he's...... beautiful seok" Mingyu commented.

"he sure is......." Seokmin answered with a smile.

"is he doing well.....?" Mingyu asked the nurse.

"he is doing fine.....you need not worry" she said and Mingyu nodded in relief.

Mingyu stayed in the hospital for a few weeks or so before being discharged together with baby Yigyeom.

Mingyu still decided to keep Yigyeom a secret from the others, the longer it is, the better.

He made the other three do so too.

"you three try me, hah!" Mingyu smirked. They shuddered.

Mingyu remained at home, taking care of Yigyeom whereas like Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Jisoo, Wonwoo, Junhui, Soonyoung and Jihoon are preparing for their finals and are also to graduate that year.

Minghao and Seokmin still brought home those school assignments for Mingyu to finish.

"Mingyu! We're home!" Seokmin and Minghao announced their arrival back home.

"here!" they walked to Mingyu's room to see him sitting on the bed with baby Yigyeom to his nipples, sucking on it.

"how's gyeommie?" Minghao asked.

"great but is quite the quiet baby" Mingyu said as they nodded.

"not like you at all" Seokmin commented. Minghao laughed.

"hey! so mean!" Mingyu pouted.

The end of the year is coming closer and their hyungdeul's graduation day is nearer.

Mingyu most probably can't make it.

"I can't make it. sorry hyung" Mingyu said to Seungcheol who came over to their apartment.

"it's fine, Mingyu. taking care of Yigyeom is the first priority....." Seungcheol smiled.

"yeah okay....." Mingyu smiled.

Seungcheol reached for baby Yigyeom. Mingyu carefully rested the baby in Seungcheol's ready arms.

"hey baby......are you sleeping well?" Seungcheol said softly with a smile to the baby sleeping in his arms. The baby wriggled a little in his sleep.

"does he cry alot and loud at night.....?" Seungcheol asked.

Mingyu thought for awhile before saying, "he's been making it easy for me so I would say no." Seungcheol nodded.
