The many versions of Link the hero of many things, once lived in the desert. He was just a normal Link until something happened that made him just a little different from the rest.
There was once a young Gerudo boy, since male Gerudos were only born every 100 years he was treasured. This boys name was Link he was the child of the chief of the Gerudo, his mother name was Sharifa. The boys mother was a very strong woman, the boys father died of a illness. Everyone said that the illness was actually a curse, so the boy was an out cast in his own village. Since, the boy was at such a young age he never understood all the problems that were occurring in the world, and what happened to his father and how much stress his mother was under. He lived his live as normal as he thought it was, there was always a smile on his face, a smile not a single person would see fade in public, but in reality he was just a sad little boy.
