My parents scolded me badly,

I cried not that I have done wrong
but no one take my side;

Thought of ending my life solely,

But you came on an airplane
took me for a hopeful ride.

A friend stabbed me in the back,

Shouting on my face because I got no luck;

A lover turned me down left me stuck,

But you held my hand
as we dance to the beat of rock.

My mind got exhausted
upon leaving school,

My body got weak
after I went out from work;

My heart is seeking
for a hope-bringing tool,

But God sent you
to recharge my empty batteries.

You light up my self hiding in the darkness,

You fill a bounty of faith on my emptiness;

You are the hope
beyond the heavy angry clouds,

I'm not perfect yet you gave me a cheer
and a warm applause.
