As soon as Jimin arrived, Jeongyeon ordered him to enter the study room. It's arranged like a classroom type with a mini projector flashing on the huge white wall. The room is dark and Jeongyeon this time wore a pair of cargo pants and gray jacket for him not to get the wrong idea again. With the projector's light, Jimin can see her face as she sets up her laptop. She is serious and here he is now sweating. She got that vibe of a terror teacher in school whom every student is afraid of.
"How's your work?" she suddenly asked as she adjusts the projector. Jimin was startled, "Ah, tiring but I enjoyed it. I've got friendly and helpful newfound colleagues."
Then there was silence and it felt awkward. She didn't have any reaction to what he said so he decided to speak again, "Ah, did you like the food I brought you?"
She lifted her head and quickly looked at him, "I was hungry so I've finished it. Anyway, let's start."
He smiled with content, "So feeling better now?" he next asked.
"I said, let's start with the lecture."
"Arasseo," he softly mumbled as she clicks her projector's remote flashing the word "INCOME"
"So have you got some answers on your assignment?" she asked.
"Ah ne," he nodded and continued, "There are so many ways on how I can top up my current fund and one of them is having a job so as you know, I now have a job as a cafe assistant. The seco..."
"How much will you earn from it?" she cuts him.
"8,590 won per hour. I have to work for eight hours in five days since I have two days off per week so in a month, my income is approximately 1.3million won?"
"Do you think it will be enough?"
"Hmmm..." Jimin thinks then he scratched his head. "I don't know yet."
"You don't know?"
"It will depend on you."
"Depend on me?"
"The rental. How much is your charge?"
"How much do you want?"
"Can I live for free?"
Jeongyeon lets out a sarcastic laugh and then turned serious again, "Nothing is free in this world Mr. Park."
"I'll be your cook, your maid instead. I will take care of you. How about that?" he asked with hopeful smile.
'I will take care of you,' it echoed inside Jeongyeon's head reminding her of her ex again... part of his broken promises.
She shakes her head no, "I don't need a maid."
"Jjinja? But you can't stand awhile ago, you need me," Jimin is still trying to convince her.
"I'm used to being alone. I don't need you."
