"Now I want to ask you, if you have a million won in your hands rights now, how would you spend it?" Jeongyeon asked the crowd consisting of nearly a thousand students of Seoul University. They are all frozen watching a 25 year old woman speaks so intelligently about how can a young person like them can be like her, a rich independent woman.
Jeongyeon has been so passionate about how to be rich when she was younger so she dedicated her time learning the ways of how can she achieve a life earning money without having to work for it. She developed her skills by reading a lot and taking into action whatever she desires to do. She is indeed brave for taking so many risks because we all know that money, when it is invested into something, it always comes with risks.
She is still standing looking at the crowd searching for a brave soul to answer her but no one seems interested to present themselves into a big crowd. She crossed her arms and raised a brow, "So a lot of Generation Z are a bunch of cowards?"
She kept looking around until she saw someone raising a hand...
"Finally!" she smiled and signed the person to stand.
"Hi," a man stood greeting her with a smile. Jeongyeon was shocked recognizing him but afterwards a smile escaped from her lips, "So a Gen X is pretending to be part of the Gen Z. How are you Sir?"
One of the convention staffs handed him a microphone.
"I am doing great Miss Yoo Jeongyeon. Nice seeing you again," he shyly giggled as the attention of the audience is drawn into him. Some who recognized the businessman was in awe wondering like what is he doing there with them.
"I believe you are too rich to be here," Jeongyeon said and the man just smiled at her. She then continued, "I am sure you have more than a million won but let's just pretend that you are not a tycoon."
"Arasseo," the man in his late forties agreed by nodding.
"What would you do with one million won?" Jeongyeon repeated her question.
"If I have a million won in my hands right now, I would gladly offer it to you as a paycheck to train my son."
Jeongyeon's smile slowly faded away, "Well, my fee is so much higher than that so I would decline."
"Well I am a tycoon and you know that I can pay you so much highe....."
"Mr. Park Jin Young everyone!" Jeongyeon blatantly cuts him and signed the staff to get the microphone from him."Ppali," she mouths at the staff who rushed taking the mic from the businessman.
"I want a Gen Z please not a forty-nine year OLD man," she said emphasizing the word 'old' and instead of feeling insulted, Jin Young laughed fixing himself back on his seat.
Park Jin Young, the Chairman of JYP Parkles Holdings, Inc. owning a real estate company, a mall, a hotel, a bank and an entertainment entity, is already carved into South Korea's richest businessmen. He had met Jeongyeon at an investor's ball of a car company a month ago. She had a speech there and he was blown away. He was also amazed by the fact that she was able to converse with him without any intimidation. She is confident, independent, natural and very direct. Her audacity makes him laugh every time. He knew at that moment that he needs her to train his hard-headed son financially. From then on he was always proposing if she could impart her knowledge to the heir of his holdings in exchange of a million dollar. Yes, you read that right, dollar, specifically US dollar or about a billion won when converted. Call him desperate but he believes that she could make a difference and change his son for the better but Jeongyeon kept on declining the offer because first of all, she doesn't want to work under somebody. She doesn't want the idea of having a boss. That was her motivation upon growing up. She doesn't like wasting her energy for the benefit of somebody.
