She has many names, made many mistakes, lived many lives, but you'll never truly know her.

Not yet anyways.

For now, she's just Aven. When you hear her name you know exactly who they're talking about. Not because she's well-liked or has met a ton of people, but because she's feared. Because she's hurt people, killed. More than her brothers.

Combined.

She is friends with many powerful people, making her untouchable. If anyone were to hurt her there'd be hell to pay. Literally.

She has more people protecting her than she knows, more people that care, that would kill for her. However, her infamous brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, aren't one of them.

Not that its their fault. In their defense, they probably would be if they knew she was alive. Why hasn't she told them after over 100 years? Only she could tell you.

Maybe she's still holding a grudge for what they did oh so many lifetimes ago. Or maybe she's gotten so used to being on her own she's scared she will go back to being the defenseless little sister that they needed to protect, to watch over. Which she isn't. And they don't. She's survived this long on her own, sure it was hard, she may not be the same 16 year old girl they knew- no, that i can tell you, she isn't.

What happened that caused her to run? Run from everything and everyone she knew, just to be alone? She was just a kid. She had no idea what she was doing. Not to mention being a new vampire. Where was she this whole time? Who was she with? What was she doing for over 100 years, and how did she manage to stay under her brothers' radar all this time?

Not that any of it matters, she'll be found sooner or later. But it still makes you wonder what happened to her that made her turn from a sweet, innocent, beautiful little girl, to a selfish, homicidal, monster.

But like i said, only she can tell you.
