Shove it down
Shove it deep, deep down
Nobody needs to see this,
How hurt you truly are
Nobody deserves to know this,
The reasons behind your scars
Some people live on
To tell the battle stories
And some people die
Leaving behind people that are unknowing
It hurts to bleed
It hurts to cry
It hurts to shove it
Deep down inside
But don't worry darling,
It'll all be alright
Just keep everything locked up tight
Nobody can hurt you
As long as your feelings are suppressed
Nobody will ever know you are depressed
The little girl writing this
Is fighting back tears
She reliving all the heartbreaks
As she goes through the years
"Put on a smile"
"It's not over yet"
Will it be over
Once that little girl is dead?
