"Reese you're 18 years old and you don't even have a job!" Reese was in his room with his head in his pillow while his mom yelled from the kitchen like she always did. He had heard this speech a million times since he turned 16 and he thought it was getting old. He had just come in from school and all he wanted to do was relax. "Ma ain't no 9 to 5 job gonna get us out of this dump. When I get famous we going to Beverly hills where all the rich white people live." His mom smiled at the idea. She loved it when Reese would dream the way he did. It showed he had hope of doing something with his life. Graduation was two weeks away and nobody had prepared for what would happen that day.
