I was in the training room practicing with my katana, when it happened. The first thing I heard was a scream. Then I had rushed down the stairs to see what it was. It was HIM. Sebastian Morgenstern. Valentine's son. He had made my mom, Kristina Ravenwood, head of the Milwaukee Institute, drink from the Infernal Cup. That had been the scream. I had filed this away in my head when he had seen me. He had looked at me and shouted "Why don't you join the party, Alexis?". I walked towards him, unsure of what he wanted, hoping it wasn't bad. "What do you want?" I demanded, and had spat at him, but it was only a show so I didn't look like a terrified preschooler. "Ooh, feisty!" Sebastian had said. "I'm taking her home!" he had declared. Someone knocked me out, and I didn't wake up till we got to Sebastian's house.

And that's my story. The great tales of Alexis Ravenwood. Then again, more like my epic fail. Sebastian had brought me to his home a few years ago, and I must admit, it isn't that bad. He isn't mean, he lets me leave the house, and he doesn't call me Alexis. Hate that name. My favorite part though, besides it being the best place ever, sometimes we train together. I've improved so much, I can beat him occasionally. "Alex! Breakfasts ready!" Sebastian shouts from downstairs. "Coming!" I shout back, throwing whatever was next to my hand in my book as a bookmark and rushing downstairs. What? He makes REALLY good pancakes! Not my fault he knows how to cook. "What kind?" I ask as soon as I get to the table. "You'll find out!" he says as I take out the whipped cream, spraying the whole bottle on my pancake. "Chocolate chip!" I yell excitedly. I'm having a second before Sebastian even starts his first. By the end of breakfast, I had six and he had four. "Okay, time to train. Ready?" he asks. "Yep!" I shout and we run up the stairs to the training room.
