A/N: Ok so I haven't had time to write like I said I would BUT I did find this and it's really old and ends weird but I did some editing so it might be okay. Anyway I'll try to update by the end of October but I make no promises.

I never was a late sleeper. But I should stop waking up at four in the morning.  Oh well.  Sebastian's still asleep, but I think it's about time he wakes up.

After about an hour of thorough planning, and another four hours of procrastinating, I crept towards Sebastian's room.  It wasn't really necessary,  considering how heavy he sleeps. I slowly turned the knob, and pushed the door open as quietly as possible. I took a deep breath and started yelling.

"Sebastian! We've been found! People are breaking down the door!" I looked down, only to find him still asleep.

Ugh. He is no fun.

I walked over to his bed, ripped the blankets off, and pushed him out.

Thump

He hit the ground hard, groaning as he woke up.

"Alex... Why do you do this... It's so early..."

"Sebastian, you know full well it is no where near early and I will kill to get my hands on some of your waffles right now."

He groaned again, smiling as he sat up.

"Really? You only woke me for the waffles? Not my dazzling personality?" He grinned up at me, his eyes still closed.

"What personality? Last time I checked you were just the cook."

Sebastian laughed, and used the bed to pull himself up. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he started walking towardsthe door.

"I'm hurt Alex, perhaps I'll put poison in the waffles just so you notice me."

"If you mess with waffles I'll kill you."

"Alright, alright. I'll make some waffles." He paused in the doorway, turning back to face me. "But next time I'll be pushing you out of your bed"

I laughed and joined him as he walked downstairs.

I sat at the table, watching as Sebastian made breakfast. Within minutes, he had a pile of steaming waffles in his hand. Just as he was about to sit down, he blinked as if remembering something before dropping the waffles he had been holding on the counter and running upstairs. I heard voices, but I couldn't make out what they were saying.  Sebastian came downstairs,  our "guest" in tow.

"Oh yeah... that guy.  Forgot about him. Whoops." I shrug as I make to grab some waffles for myself.

Jace looked around at the kitchen with a neutral expression on his face for a moment before joining me at the table

"So, Jace." I began, drizzling syrup over my waffles. "What do you like to do?"

He smirked, and leaned his chair way back before answering.

"Well, there's being sarcastic,  shadowhunting,  and being better than everyone else."

"Well first off, you don't get to be sarcastic,  that's my job.  And secondly,  the only thing you'll ever be better than me at is cooking."

"Woah there, I think he has a shot at being better at poetry. The last time you tried that my ears started bleeding."

"They did not!"

"Eh, well, it was pretty close."

"Hmph. You just have bad taste."

"Whatever you say, Alex."

I ignored him, and started digging into my waffles. Sebastian laughed and began eating his own, while Jace seemed to zone out, barely touching his food.
