"I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going", he apologized, still staring into my eyes.
He gave me a smile that made me melt in an instant. His boxy-like smile made him look like an innocent angel. And his golden/blonde locks were the cherry on top.
I couldn't talk. It felt like I have to stare back into his eyes because they were so gorgeous.
As I dazed off I forgot who was talking to me. But Namjoon took me back to reality.
"Taehyung, next time watch out or just mind your own business"
Oh yeah, right, I bumped into Kim Taehyung. The other Vampire Prince.
And with that, I quickly looked away. But still, I could feel his eyes on me.
Wait. Do they know each other? Because I don't remember seeing them talking or hanging out in the past.
All I know is that you're only allowed to call them by their first names if you're friends with them.
I will have to ask him about that later.
"Yeah, like I said I'm sorry," he said glancing at Namjoon but quickly looking back at me. His voice is really soothing I realized.
"It's okay but we need to go to class. And you probably too so... yeah we head off" I said awkwardly and I wanted to punch myself. Why am I so nervous around him? Is it because of my attraction toward him? I hope not.
He let out a little laugh. That made my heart beat faster. I hope he could not sense it with his supernatural powers... or whatever they call them.
"I understand. But before you go could I first know your name? I'd like to know if you don't mind." Taehyung asks with a small smile.
I looked into his eyes. For some reason, I felt the need to tell him my name but before I could respond Namjoon interrupted me almost immediately.
"Dude look" he sighed annoyed by the vampire prince. "The bell is about to ring in a few minutes so we're heading off for the first class. You should too"
Taehyung doesn't respond to that and just continued to look at me. I must admit it's slowly creeping me out. So I looked down at my shoes.
After I realized that they were waiting for an answer from me I quickly looked at Namjoon who looked annoyed at Taehyung.
"Namjoon's right. It's his first day here after so many years and he can't be late so we better go" I said avoiding Taehyung's stare.
I quickly took Namjoon's hand and pulled him with me. As I walked past Taehyung my shoulder unintentionally bumped into his.
I looked over my shoulder to see Taehyung still standing on the spot where we left him.
He quickly locked eyes with me and gave me an adorable closed-eye smile.
I smiled back. Even though I would never smile at a vampire.
"Sorry about that, Y/N"
I quickly turned my head around and saw that Namjoon was looking at me. He looked at me suspiciously and looked over his shoulder.
"Are you okay?" He asked me as he turned his head back to me.
I looked back and Taehyung was nowhere to be seen. He probably sped off so Namjoon couldn't see him still standing there.
"Yeah, I'm good. Do you guys know each other?" I asked him due to Namjoon addressed him by his first name. Almost everyone addresses the Loyals with their last name.
At first, he hesitated and avoided eye contact with me but he answered after a few seconds, "Yeah, his and my parents had a few meetings in the past."
Wow. I would've never thought of that.
"Oh", was all I could get out.
"Yeah, but we don't talk or hang out because of that. We just know each other because our parents wanted to." he added.
"Did you guys get along together well?" I asked him out of curiosity.
"Taehyung was easier to talk to but Jungkook was a dick almost every time I approached him. But that didn't surprise me honestly. I bet he's still a dick?"
"Oh yeah, he is", I rolled my eyes thinking about yesterday.
He stopped walking, "Does that mean he was a dick to you?", he asked with a voice full of protectiveness and anger. His eyebrows were narrowed and his staring at me was intense.
At this point, I couldn't lie to him but before I could answer the school bell rang and saved me.
The school bell saved me two times this week I think I should thank it.
"I'll tell you later sometime but right now we need to go to class", I quickly tried to avoid his question because I don't want to cause any fight between the two.
And we all know who would've won.
He sighed dramatically, "What do we have now?"
"Uhm, Biology", I answered as I remembered.
"God, that's so useless", he chuckled.
"There will be times where you're going to need biology", I winked.
"Yeah right, sorry.", he laughed.

14 minutes later, we are sitting next to each other and doing our work tasks.
"Uhm... Y/N?", Namjoon whispered next to me.
As I turned around to ask what was wrong I couldn't help but notice how near his face was to mine.
He quickly backs off a little bit and waits for my answer.
"Yes?", I could notice this little shade of pink on his cheeks. Was he blushing? Oh, cute.
"Do you know the answer to number 5? I just don't get it, why would I know the answer to something like 'How long does it take our eyes to fully adapt to darkness?' Do I look like I'm a god?", he whispered and his face had a genuinely confused expression on his face.
"Well I'm not a god but the answer is about 10 minutes", I answered as I quietly giggled.
I think every day is going to be like this. But I'm not complaining.
"Oh... well from now on you are", he smiled down at me. I had the urge to smile back so I did.
"Just shut up already", I laughed shaking my head and continued answering my last 3 questions.
I could feel an intense stare on me. So I looked back to Namjoon but he was just writing down on his paper.
I furrowed my eyebrows out of confusion. I quickly searched the classroom where the stare could come from.
But then I made eye contact with him from across the room.
