10 years later

Hanjis POV

Its already been 10 years....after I finished school at my new school I decided to pursue my career as a scientist with Nanaba. We both became lab partners at our new job at the wings of freedom labratory.

After we finished highschool we both had enough money saved from working two part time jobs each. We both went to college and got our bachelor's degree.

After that we aimed for the best position as scientists.....

We stayed in contact if our old friends and as I expected Mike and nanaba became a thing. Erwin pursued his dream as a basketball player and moblit became a school professor.

Those past years really helped me move forward from my parents death....

As for me now I live alone in a small apartment. I don't plan on having a relationship with anyone.... I like to focus on my work.

But that all changes today....

I get a phone call from my grandma....oh no.

"Hello?"

"Hanji you little brat why haven't you called me in like 5 years!"

"S-sorry grandma I-I've been busy"

"Busy my ass little shit.....anyway your shit of a uncle left me with his naughty ass child eren right and now eren has been a pain in my ass lately so I have a request from you"

"And that is?"

"I need you to take care of this child for me I'm getting too old for this hanji....he's getting older and more of a brat than you were"

I sighed "ok I can take him, I have an extra room....but nana are you sure you are going to be ok by yourself?"

"The hell is that supposed to mean kid...I'm old and senile!?"

"N-no that's not what I meant, what I meant was about your kids.....you lost both my mother and aunt...."

I hear her sigh "yes loosing my two daughters hurts....but I still have my precious grandkids....and I'm grateful for that"

I smiled to myself "well nana I'll be willing to take eren off your hands and feel free to call me whenever you'd like"

"Yeah yeah seems like I would have to call you since you don't even bother calling you old senile grandmother"

"Harsh nana..."

"I'm just messing with you kiddo....thanks for looking over eren for me...he needs a younger figure looking over him"

"Anytime nana"

"Well I gotta go kiddo take care and thank you again"

"I will and your welcome"

She hangs up and I sigh as I toss my phone on my bed....well looks like I'm getting a new family member living with me.

I haven't seen eren in a while...last time I saw he was a little boy always so happy....I hope he hasn't Changed that much.

I hear my phone buzz and it said eren was coming tomorrow. I went to the guest room and it was still all ready ever since nanaba left.....I miss her sometimes it gets lonely not having your best friend....

I was about to watch some TV then I heard my phone buzz again.

-anyone wanna hangout today with me and miche?

-sure, I just finished basketball practice so I'm free

-sounds fun I'm down

-ok I'm down where and when?"

-the park sound good? And at 5:30

-ok sounds good

Everyone agrees and I turn off my phone, 5:30 was like in an hour. I decided to get ready by first taking a shower.

1 hour later

I drove to the park and saw Nanaba was already there with Mike. I parked and got out of my car and walked to them.

"Hanji!" Nanaba said running towards me hugging me tightly.

"Hey Nana" I said hugging her back.

Mike walked towards us and smiled "long time no see hanji"

"Hey Mike it's been awhile" I said smiling.

All three us began talking to eachother mostly about work and life. Then Erwin came he found us and smiled.

Erwin had some Interesting stories about basketball and what his team does after practice.

Then last but not least moblit came he was being held up due to a teacher meeting.

We began walking in the park together talking amongst ourselves.

"Sooo hanji have you decided to start dating yet?" Nanaba said smirking.

I shook my head "like hell, I don't have time for a proper Relationship due to my work"

Nanaba shrugged "well when you do tell me I'll be your best wingman"

I sighed "but someone will be moving in with me"

"Really?, Who?" Erwin asked curiously.

"My little cousin Eren, my grandma said he's been causing her trouble so is going to move in with me"

"Well that sounds like fun" Nanaba laughed.

I shrugged "he seems like he's changed so I'm curious to know what happened to him"

"I mean he is your cousin you guys can't be to much different from eachother"

"Well I guess I have to wait and see right"

It was nice talking to them again.....I did miss them dearly.

"Anyone up for something to eat?" Moblit asks.

We all nod "yeahhhh please I've been living off ramen noodles for days" groaned Erwin.

We laughed then decided to go to a cafe to eat some treats and drink some coffee.

When we were talking my phone started buzzing. It was from my work I had to answer it.

"Um give me a sec I need to answer this"

They nod and I walk away to answer the phone call.

"Hello this is hanji Zoe speaking"

"Ah hanji hello"

"Hello Mr zachirous how can I help you?"

"Well Ms. Zoe I have a little favor to ask for"

"And that is?"

"I need you to go to a highschool to help the science department there with their science fair coming up since your one of the best here I have suggested you and Nanaba to go"

"Ok sir sounds good which highschool?"

"Ah you see that's also the thing it's a little far from here but don't worry we will pay for transportation and housing the school is scout regiment high....."

My eyes widened scout Regiment high?.....my old highschool?.....great just great.....

"Ok sounds good boss when will I have to leave?"

"Tommorow at noon"

SHIT EREN IS COMING TOMMOROW.

"Ok sounds good"

"Ok, thank you Hanji and if you see Nanaba tell her the news as well"

"Ok I will"

We said goodbye and I hang up.....this is just great.....
