Hanjis POV

I was finishing getting ready and I was  nervous....this is going to be awkward.....damn it Eren....

I walked into the living room of the hotel and see Eren on his phone, he looks up at me "you ready?"

I nod "lets go...."

Nanaba let me take her car so we drove to the cafe, I glanced at Eren and he was looking out the window.

"Hey" I hit his shoulder getting his attention.

"Yeah?"

"We are just going to apologise and that's it I don't want any fights understand"

"Yes...."

We stop at the cafe and I sigh "alright let's go"

He nods then we get out of the car and walk up to the cafe.....this is just great.

We walk in and the man looks up to up greet us then gets a worried expression when he saw Eren.

"H-how can I help you two" he asked.

I sighed "we came here to apologise"

I looked at Eren and he was looking down so I sighed and slapped his head making him look up.

"S-sorry for causing a disruption at this cafe"

The man nodded "it's ok"

I sighed "we also came to apologise to your manager....."

"Oh? I'll get him be right back"

Eren looks at me "hanji...you can go back to the car and I can handle it"

I shook my head "no it's fine besides we are going to apologize then leave"

Eren nods then I see the man come back out with Levi....he hasn't changed one bit.

"Alright brat let's get this over-" he looks up and sees me.

"H-hanji?"

I had a stern face "I'm just here with eren that's it"

I looked at eren and Nuged him to apologize....

"I'm sorry for causing a disruption to your cafe..."

"And" I said nudging him again.

He grits his teeth "and for assaulting you..."

I sigh then look at Levi "we're both sorry"

He nods "it's fine...."

I sigh "well if that's all we will be going now"

I start to walk away when Levi calls at me again....great just great....

"Hanji please...."

"Please what?" I turn to look at him.

"Can we please just talk...."

"There's nothing to TALK about Levi"

"Yes there is hanji..."

I sighed I wasn't being fair but honestly I still hate his guts....I guess I'll hear what he has to say.

"Fine, but later tonight at the secret spot understand"

He nods "thank you...."

Me and eren leave, when we got into the car eren looked at me "Hanji I thought-"

"I'm just going to listen to what he has to say that's it Eren"

He nods then looks out the window as we drive back home....this was just supposed to be a business trip...

Why must things get more complicated....

Levi's POV

I'm so nervous right now....hanji is much different then the last time I saw her....she's much more....stern.

It was almost time to go meet with her so I finished getting ready and decided to head off.....I have a lot of explaining to do.

When I reached the woods I turned on my flashlight and started walking in the forest to me and hanjis secret spot.

It was our old hangout place when we were young and we used to come here all the time....oh how I miss those days until I screwed it all up.....

When I reached our old treehouse the candles were already lit in there meaning....hanji was already here.

We loved this treehouse because it always had the best view of the moon and lake that was not to far from here.

I walked to the treehouse and climbed the stairs knocking on the trap door. I hear hanji unlock it.

"It's unlocked"

I open and see her sitting on a beanbag in the corner with her arms crossed.

I frown then sit on my beanbag across form her and stayed quiet....

It was just an awkward silence.....all you could hear were crickets outside....

She breaks the silence by sighing "alright let's get this over with, start talking"

I nod "I just want to start off with I'm sorry....I made a terrible decision of choosing Petra over you.....I should have chose you because you were my best friend in the whole wide world and I cared about you a lot....I was put under pressure of my friends and I messed up....I know you don't have to forgive me but I just wanted you to know...."

Hanji nods "that it?"

I nod and stayed quiet....

"What happened with you and Petra?"

"I broke it off with her...."

"Really?"

"Yes....I broke it off with my friends as well....that's when I became a loner at school....I started to just give up on school and just stayed home....I then got a job and made new friends....farlan and Isabel....my two closest friends....you would like them....they are really friendly....remind me of you..."

She nods "well I'm glad you made new friends levi...."

"I also would pay my respects to your parents graves giving them your favorite kind of flowers so they would be reminded that you still loved them.."

Her eyes widened "y-you did?"

I nodded "yes...."

"Thank you...."

"Yeah...anytime"

After another long pause of silence She sighs and get up then walks over to me and holds out her hand....I look at her then at her hand and gladly took it as she helped me stand.

"You know levi sometimes even the best of friends get in fights....but just some fight shouldn't ruin our friendship forever....I know it's been 10 years but I really needed time to be by myself....and I'm sorry too.....it was our first major fight and we didn't know how to go about it right....you tried, but I just ignored you and pushed you away like I have been doing for a very long time....so levi I'm willing to try again as friends and.....I forgive you"

My eyes widened she forgive me....."thank you hanji"

She hugs me and hug her back.....it's been so long best friend....
