Kageyama x Hinata (Haikyuu fanfic)

Chapter one

Hinata:

Today is my first day in high school! I am so excited i am finally in high school it's crazy. In middle school I was always thinking about what high school would be like, i never imagined it would come this soon. After school today I am going to volleyball club to sign up, i used to play in middle school but I didn't have a proper team i had to ask everybody i could.

I put on my uniform and grabbed my bike out of the garage put on my backpack and biked to school. When i bike to school it takes me about 10-15 minutes to get there, I don't live very far. For lunch we get a hour to eat so we can go off campus if you want. I usually eat lunch at school but sense it is the first day today I want to eat out. I brought money to get meat buns at sakanoshita market. I finally arrived at school and put my bike in the bike rack. I looked up at the school in shock it was huge. It was four stories tall. Way bigger than my middle school. I backed up not paying attention at all just to take in how big this school is. This tall guy with dark brown hair and black eyes bumped into me. My notebooks in my hand fell on the floor. I scrambled on trying to pick up all the stuff I dropped and stood up and said, "Sorry I was not paying attention, it's my first day and i'm kind of nervous." I said. "You should be be more careful next time you could have gotten hurt." I gasped I was confused, maybe this school isn't so scary after all. "I'm kageyama by the way im a first year too."

He gave me a hand and helped me up from the ground, I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so little compared to him everybody at this school is so tall. The warning bell rang wich meant we had five minutes to get to class. I gasped I didn't want to be late on the first day so i put my books in my backpack and zipped it up and turned around to see kageyama and said, " I have to get to class sorry, Nice to meet. I'll you see you around." I ran from the courtyard into the building. My first class was on the third floor so I had to rush up the stairs. I was sprinting down the hallway looking at the number on each door. Then finally I found my class. I walked into the class right as the bell rang. I found a open desk and sat down and placed my backpack on the ground. I slumped in my seat and sighed in relief, I made it just in the last second.

My first class of the day was technology which was an okay class, I don't really have a favorite subject. I would always get good grades in school not the best but not the worst either. I would never get less than a C. My parents don't care about my grades so I could just not try at all. What good would that do to me, I have to keep my good grades up so I can play volleyball. I didn't mind karasuno's school uniform. It was not anything bad, it would be something I would wear anyways. So far school isn't that bad the only thing that scares me is passing time, everybody is so tall it's like there giants leaning over me. Everyone at the school seemed so scary and mean but i guess you can't judge everybody by their height. It was already time for lunch so I went to find my locker and when I got there and there was a piece of paper ripped out of a notebook that said: "meet me by the fountain out in the courtyard :) -Kageyama" I gasped, I was surprised thow did he even find my locker? I put my backpack in my locker and grabbed my money and shoved it in my pocket. I headed toward the front of the school to meet kageyama. I walked through the crowd to find kageyama sitting down on the fountain. He found my eyes and stood up and yelled "Hinata" and waved at me.

I finally made it through the crowd and was standing three feet away from kageyama. I don't know how he got my locker number or why he asked me to meet him but i have nothing else going on except getting lunch. "Hi kageyama thanks for asking me to meet here I was about to go to sakanoshita to get some lunch if you would like to join." I wanted him to come with me to get lunch because there's nothing like sitting alone at lunch. It's kind of lonely and is good to have a friend. The store is not far at all only like a five minute walk there so we have a good amount of time to eat. "you know i've seen you around before I always thought you looked like a fun person to hang around, but never had the courage to come up and talk to you," said kageyama. Before I knew it I was blushing sense when does a tall tough guy want to be friends with a lonely short guy like me.

As soon as I knew it we were already at the store I come here like once a week. I asked him what he likes to get there and he said he doesn't care whatever I get! I literally have never had someone tell me they don't care what to get, this guy is awesome. Looks like we'll be ordering 2 things of pork buns MY FAVORITE! I walked up to the cash register and asked for 2 orders of pork buns to go. We waited at a table I swinged my legs back in fourth, thanks to my height I can do that without touching the ground. Two boys walked in and spotted me and kageyama sitting at a table together "KAGEYAMA" yelled tanaka and noya. I looked confused "Do you know these two guys" as I looked at kageyama he nodded. 

Kageyama:

Hinata Noya, Noya Hinata, Hinata Tanaka, Tanaka Hinata. Now that everybody is introduced this is Hinata. I bumped into Hinata this morning and he dropped his books we didn't get much time to talk because the bell rang but we decided to come to lunch to get to know eachother. I met hinata this morning but now he has to run into my friends this is a lot all at once. I know Tanaka and Nishinoya are kind of a pain in the ass sometimes so Hinata might not like them right away but you have to get to know them to understand there fooling around or joking with you. But of course they were coming here for lunch the same day I am with someone they have never met. Finally the pork buns are ready! We grabbed the pork buns and set then on a table we were going to sit at. Then went to the fridge to grab drinks hinata grabbed a orange juice and i got a milk carton. We turned around to go back to ur table and we saw the bag of food was gone, and we saw a glimpse of noya running out the door. I sprinted out of the door " NISHINOYA COME BACK HERE" I could hear them laughing from far away. "It's ok I got it kageyama i can run faster than them." I looked at hinata surprised. As I stood there hinata sprinted so fast he already made it to Noya and Tanaka. "I just met you guys and your already stealing my food you could have just asked I would have shared." noya and tanaka looked at each other and were confused because they thought he was going to yell at him.
