Kageyama x Hinata (Haikyuu fanfic)

Chapter 3

The next day: 

Hinata: 

 Wow I can't believe how amazing this school is. On the first day I felt so welcome even though I was nervous, but I'm excited to continue playing volleyball here. There are so many amazing people especially kageyama. To be honest the only reason I'm excited to go to school every day is at the end when we have volleyball practice it's my favorite time of day. I have always had a passion for volleyball but being on a actual team has been a dream of mine. Now it's finally here it's crazy, but I'm going to have to work supper hard to get to play. 

School is almost over and I took a glance at my phone and I got a bunch of text messages and missed calls from kageyama! I hope everything is alright, usually I only get a few but there is so many notifications. I took out my phone to see what he wants and OMG he said "hinata I I'm scared please help." 

 I didn't know what happened so I asked the teacher if I could leave class I need to call someone it's important. The teacher said I could so I grabbed my bag and ran out the door and left the building to sit on the fountain in the courtyard. I finally had the time to call kageyama. I went to his name in my contacts and called him. It rang for a couple of seconds until he picked up sounding like he was crying. "Hinata I'm sorry I've been bothering you all day cause I know your at school but something scary happened."

Kageyama's POV:

Me Tanaka and nishinoya went to the grocery store for lunch sense noya left his lunch on the table of his house sense he was going to be late. We were on the way there and was crossing the road this car went psycho speeding at like 80 miles per hour on a red light. The guy in the seemed like he wasn't going to stop then he saw us and tried to swerve. Though he did swerve he was so out of control and couldn't stop in time. We were walking in the crosswalk and the car hit Noya.

Me and Tanaka were so scared we called the ambulance as fast as possible. The guy in the car came out and apologized but seemed like he was terrified of what he did. I didn't even know what to feel mad angry sad?

A few minutes later the ambulance arrived and we told them he got hit by a car and was knocked unconscious for about 10 minutes.

The doctors put him on a stretcher and put him in the ambulance and me and Tanaka got into the back of the ambulance to ride there with him.

When we got to the doctors we could come into the room which was good they said he broke multiple ribs and may have a concussion plus a lot of bruises on his arms and neck. We're just lucky he survived that sense how fast the car was going.

Noya was still unconscious, it was terrible to see him like this he is always so happy and energetic. It's crazy how fast it happened and nobody else got hurt except him. There was nothing much the doctors could do sense he only got bruises and broken ribs which can't really get treated.

Out of nowhere his pulse dropped to 0 beats per minute. He went into cardiac arrest all the doctors panicked and got him a breathing tube to try to get him to breath oxygen and got nothing still no pulse. They started doing CPR on him over and over again and nothing. They have been trying to get him to breath for 2 minutes is that even possible to still be alive?

This is the most scariest thing I have ever seen I thought Noya getting hit was scary but now my best friend might actually die. I have so many scary thoughts I need to shove down right now and focus on Noya not some imagination I made up.

After a lot of tries they finally got something a breath! Noya was alive! It was such a relief me and Tanaka have been living in hell for the last 30 minutes waiting for Noya to be okay. He still has a lot of time to recover and heal but at least he is in a stable condition right now.

The doctors told us he is going to be staying here for a while and that we should leave him to rest for a while and come back soon.

Hinata's POV:

Kageyama still haven't told me many details about anything that happened. I'm scared if he is okay. He has not texted me in the past 12 hours. He didn't show up to volleyball practice and the coach asked me where he is and I didn't know either. But Tanaka and Noya weren't there either. I wonder if he was with them.

The next day at school I didn't see kageyama anywhere so I texted him to see where he was and still hadn't replied. I wish I knew his address so I could go visit him to see if he's okay. I didn't have either Noya or Tanaka's phone numbers so I couldn't ask them his address and none of the coaches would know.

God his silence is really scaring me. Considering the fact he called me and said he was scared, I really don't know what to expect.

The whole school day was horrible I couldn't stop filling my mind with possible scenarios. I didn't even write down one note for any class so I'm toast. I will be failing in the first week of school. Which will mean I won't me able to play in any upcoming volleyball games.

The bell rang so I quickly grabbed my things from my locker that I needed for volleyball and headed down to the gym pretending I would see Kageyama which I know he wouldn't be there.

This is the second day where we haven't seen Kageyama Tanaka or Noya at practice. Coach Ukai was concerned so he asked takeda to call either one of their parents, he called Noya's mom first. His mom picked up and asked who it was he introduced himself as the assistant coach at Karasuno. "We have been wondering where Noya has been for the past few days."

The mom said in a sad tone, "Our boy got hit by a speeding car on the way to a grocery store with Tanaka and kageyama during lunch."

Takedas hand went over his mouth in fear and dropped the phone on the floor. Everyone in the room looked at takeda with a confused glare. "What happened?" said coach Ukai. "Noya got hit by a car."

The whole room got quiet and there was a few gasps. "Alright everyone we are going to not have practice for this week due to the circumstances of one of our players which means our 3v3 will have to be postponed. Everyone go home and get some rest and take some time to yourselves."

I packed up all my things and walked out of the gym and walked to the bike rack by the front doors to get my bike. I took off the bike lock put it in my backpack and took off. It was like 4 at night so I didn't have to be home for a while my parents will be surprised to see me.

Hey hinata you're home early said my mom. "Yeah the coach gave us all a week of"

"How come?"

"One of our players got hit by a car yesterday, 2 of his friends from the team where with him and hasn't been to school or practice sense."

My mom was so shocked and grabbed me to give me a hug and whispered in my ear. "Oh my goodness that is terrible have you heard anything about him yet?"

No we don't have many details and kageyama hasn't responded to me in the past 2 days.
