How it all Began

Part 11

The whole team walked in quietly to the hotel, all just happy to get some sleep before starting again. Aaron got the room keys from the front desk, there were enough rooms to were they could all have there own, which made it easier for JJ and Hotch.

Every single one of them had a room on the same for as each other, besides Aaron and Dave. They all rode up in the same elevator and parted there separate ways, saying goodnight to each other as they went.

JJ got into her room ten minutes till nine, which meant that she could still call Henry, and say goodnight to him.

She picked up her phone and dialed Will's phone number. It didn't take long for him to answer.

"Hey, babe."

"Hey, honey. I just called to say goodnight to Henry."

They talked on the phone for almost ten minutes. JJ got to here about his day at school, what Will made him for dinner, and also about the game Will and him played. At the end of the call they said goodnight and I love you to each other, and then Henry hung up so he could go to bed.

After JJ got off the phone with Henry, she saw that she had a text from Aaron, so she read it.

"Hey Jay - I'm ready to talk whenever you are, my room number is 226."

JJ didn't really have anything else to do, so she grabbed her room key, and headed up to Aaron's room. The elevator ride didn't take long, and it did not take her long to find his room, she raised her hand up to knock on the door.

Aaron heard the knock on the door, and was instantly happy because he knew that the beautiful blonde was behind it.

He opened up the door, and smiled, happy to be able to spend some time with her alone. She smiled back at him, with that big beautiful smile of hers, and walked in his room.

She walked in standing awkwardly in the middle of the room, unsure of what to do.

He closed the door and saw that she was unsure.

"Jay, you can sit on the bed or stand. Whatever you are comfortable with."

She took a seat at the end of his bed, and he decided to stand, leaning against the hotels tv stand.

"Jay, I wanted to talk to about last night."

" I know and I wanted to talk to you about that too."

He was really nervous to say the next part, but he knew that he had too.

"I know that we are both married Jay, but I have loved you since you started at the BAU, and I can't get last night out of my head. Neither of us are happy in our marriages, and we also deserve to be happy too at least for Henry and Jacks sake."

He looked up at her nervously, waiting for her to respond to him.

JJ sat there, stunned by what Aaron had just confessed to her. She had loved him to, but she thought that they couldn't be together because of their marriages. He was right though, that they deserved to be happy to, even if it did hurt Will and Heather.

JJ stood up and closed the short distance between the two of them, and kissed Aaron tenderly on the lips, happy when Aaron kissed her back.

She pulled away once she was needing air, but not for long, because Aaron pulled her back into him kissing her much more delicately then last time.

After he was done kissing her she pulled away, smiling for the first time since last night, happy to see where things might go between the two of them.

"I love you too Aaron, I always have and always will."

She saw his face light up with a huge smile, which was rare for Aaron, but she was one of the few people that got to see it.

She took a glance at the clock and saw that it was almost 10 o clock, which mean that she needed to get going, to get a few hours of sleep before having to get up at four. She turned to head to the hotel door, so she could go back to her hotel room, when she heard Aaron speak.

"Jay, do you wanna stay here tonight? I could wake you up in the morning, so you could go back to your hotel room to get showered and changed, and so no one would suspect anything."

She turned around and smiled.

"I would love nothing more then to stay here tonight Aaron, except I don't have any pajamas on yet."

"Oh Jay that's fine. I can give you something of mine to wear tonight."

He went over to his go bag, and grabbed her a t-shirt of his and a pair of sweatpants. He gave them to her so she could go change in the bathroom.

She went to the bathroom, and changed quickly, wanting to get into bed for the night.

When she came out of the bathroom Aaron was already in bed, so she climbed in next to him and cuddled up to his side. She felt his arm wrap around her waist, and then fell asleep, genuinely happy for the first time in almost a year.
