At dinner, the three of us were deep into conversation about sweet nothings. Then freya brings up the dreaded conversation i've been avoiding all night. I trust talia and freya, but i've never been too good about talking through my emotions. It's always made me uncomfortable.
'How did you guys know you guys were like...i don't know '
'In love?' Talia finishes for me.
'Yeah, that' I sigh with defeat
'I don't know just like a feeling in my heart' Freya answers with a smile
'How do you feel when you look at him?' Talia asks
'I don't know, like, light?'
'Ok no offense E but... what in the fuck does that mean?'
I plant my hands in my face. I hate talking about my feelings. I've never ever been good with it, i've always been more in tune with work or school than i am with my feelings. I'm surprised i even knew i liked harry.
But, i let it all flow out of me. 'I don't know... i mean when i look in his eyes i just get lost, whenever we talk it feels like it's the only thing in the world, he puts me in a trance'
Talia and Freya look at me with faces i've never seen them have before
'Awww' They say in unison. I shoot them a disgusted look but i guess we know the answer to my question. Harry is the one for me.
We continue talking through the night and they bring up the Hawaii trip they're all going on. No one had mentioned it to me so i'm assuming i'm not invited, honestly i'm ok with it, my birthday being
tomorrow i'll probably end up getting a flight home too see my family.
