Chapter 6: The Plan of Action

As I rushed out of the classroom into the hallways, there was people everywhere. There were announcements going by I couldn't hear them over the screams from everyone. Teachers were trying to get things under control, but the amount of students were too much for the teachers to control. It was utter chaos. People were being pushed down onto the ground, some were pushed down the stairs. People who could fly were colliding above everyone else, it was like it was the end of the world. I continued to push my way through the crowd but it was to much to handle. I tried my best to get to the side though, as hard as it was I managed to get to the side of the room. I slouched down to the floor. The screams and the constant pushing was too much for me. That's when the thought occurred to me, maybe I could open a portal to my room. I closed my eyes and I put my hands over my ears and tried my best to drown out everyone else. I recalled an old thought in my brain, it was when I was back in school. My teacher was telling the class that the way Prihumans control their powers is how they focus. They focus on one thought, and it helps them maintain control of their abilities. So I tried my best to follow through with that lesson. I tried my best to ignore the noise and try and find the thought that would help me channel my powers. That's when it came to me, it was on my 11th birthday. I was hanging out with just my parents we went swimming, then to the movies and then the drive home. I fell asleep in the car, my head leaning on my Mom's shoulder..... It was one of the best days I've ever had.... My mind continuously focused on that one thought, over and over again. I heard a faint whooshing sound, and I fell backwards. I screamed as I fell, it felt like I was falling forever. That's when I felt the soft comfort of my bed. I had fallen all they way from the hallway through my ceiling onto my bed. I was so happy that I was able to focus my power, I couldn't think about anything else. I just laid there and thought about the future and how I could use my powers. I had thought about it so much that I didn't even realize that all the screaming and noise had completely stopped. I didn't care though, I just kept thinking about my powers. I was just so obsessed with it. My thoughts were interrupted by knocking on my door, as I got up to go answer it I heard someone speak on the other side of it. "ZACK! ZACK! Open the door we need you!" they yelled, as I opened the door I saw Adam standing on the other side of it. "Adam, are you okay? What do you want?" I asked, he stared at me. "I need you to come with me, Ms Haymond wants to talk with you" Adam replied. "Oh..okay, lead the way then" I said, he beckoned me to follow him down the hallway....

SOMETIME LATER

As we walked down a long hallway, I grew anxious. I wanted to know where we were going. "Hey, can you tell me where we are going?" I asked, Adam shook his head. "It's hard to explain with just the two of us, the others might it explain it more easier" he said, I was so confused by everything that was going on. As we reached the end of the hallway we turned a corner to a set of double doors. Adam walked forward and pushed both of them open. My jaw dropped as we walked into a very large room with a whole bunch of stuff. It must have been some sort of training room, there were weapons covering the far left wall, and a training course on the other side of the room. However the room continued upwards, there was a set of stairs that led to a balcony. "Whoa! This is so cool! But uh.. Adam why are we here?" I said blankly, he didn't respond. I looked over to see that he wasn't even there, he must've walked away while I was gazing around. I looked around to see where Adam had went, I caught a glimpse of him walking up the stairs. I chased after him, "Adam! Adam! Wait for me!" I yelled, he stopped on the stairs to wait for me. As I ran over to the stairs I saw something out of the corner of my eye.. I stopped to look, in the middle of the room were three people. There were two guys and a girl. Though the  two guys were sitting on the floor while the girl was floating in the air. I wasn't unusual to me that the girl was floating, what I found unusual was the fact that her hair was bright, like a fire. There was even small particles coming from her hair. I looked around to see if there was more people, and there was! In the far left corner on the side of the wall with all the weapons, there were two people sitting down. I couldn't see anything unusual about them, though I was able to recognize that one of them was a girl and that she has very long purple hair. Are you coming up or what?" Adam asked, I looked back at him and nodded. As we climbed the stairs there were four more people up here, two were adults and two were students. I recognized all of them, the two adults were Ms Haymond the Headmistress of the school. Kyley the school nurse, and the one student was Noah from class. The other student was..~ the girl from the washroom! The one who pulled me away from my life. "You!" I said gritting through my teeth. The girl turned to look at me, she smirked. "Oh, hey..." she said. I marched towards her, anger coursing through my veins. "I know your angry, but save it for later" the girl said, I ignored her. As I got right up to her, I looked down and scolded at her. "It's your fault I'm here, it's your fault I can no longer see my family again!" I yelled in her face, I had so much anger boiling up inside of me. She didn't even flinch as I yelled at her, she just stood there and looked up at me with her icy blue eyes. "Now, Zack. That's not her fault, she was told to bring you here" said Ms Haymond. "I don't care, either way it's her fault!" I snapped while poking at the girl. Without looking away she grabbed my finger and it became cold instantly. I recoiled away holding my finger in my hand. "What did you do?" I gritted through my teeth. The girl smiled at me. "Calm down, I know how upset you are. You have to focus on this though" she said, I looked around and the others nodded. "Who even are you anyway?!" I asked angrily. "My name is Kim" she said, I opened my mouth but I was stopped when Ms Haymond spoke. "Well, now that we have the introductions out of the way we can continue" she turned around and walked over to the balcony railing. "All of you down there! Come up here now please!" she yelled down. She walked away from the railing and over to talk with Kyley. I watched as the floating girl from downstairs flew all the way up to the balcony, though she wasn't the only one. The guys that were down there walked up the stairs behind me, I watched as there were two more people that flew up behind her. I looked as the other two flew up, one was the girl with long purple hair. The other was the small guy that I bumped into in the hallway. The guy with the silver eyes and the crescent moons for pupils.  I watched as they both landed on the balcony and walked away together. "All right, now that we are all here we need to discuss the plan" said Ms Haymond, I leaned over to Adam. "Umm what are we doing?" I whispered. He whispered back, "Just listen" he said. I was somewhat annoyed that he didn't tell me what was happening but I didn't say anything else. "So, all of you know about the war threat that Hallucination made earlier this morning. Well I want the eight of you to team up and go against him" said the Headmistress. I was taken aback by what she had just suggested. All the others nodded, I didn't get how they were just okay with it. A school principal just asked a bunch of teenagers to risk their lives. "As you know Noah is your leader so listen to him, you all have the next two days to train after that you all go on your way to confront Hallucination" continued the Headmistress. As the others went to the downstairs are, I walked up to the Headmistress. "You can't be serious?!" I snapped, she turned around and smiled. "What do you mean?" she asked, I couldn't believe what I just heard. "Your sending teenagers to face a super villain! How can you be okay with that?!" I yelled, her smile slowly faded from her  face. "Zack, I understand that your upset and that your scared and that this doesn't make much sense, but you just have to trust me. Yo--" I cut her off before she could finish. "Trust you?! I can't believe this shit right now! You are asking us to risk our lives! I don't even know what the hell I am doing! I can't even control my powers and you want me to risk my life! You might as well prepare my grave!" I yelled at her, I was so angry that my face felt like it was on fire. "Zack please calm down. I know what you must be thinking right now, and you can control your powers we saw you do it in the hallway. You just have to trust yourself" she said calmly. "Why us though?! We are kids! Send adults! The teachers! Anybody!" I continued to yell, I was just so furious. "Zack, we can't send the teachers, without the teachers the school would be in chaos. We have tried to look for adults, we cannot find any adult Prihumans. We've looked for a long time...Zack you guys are our last option on standing against Hallucination and the Death's Nightmare. Zack believe me when I say this.. I hate the fact that we have to send you guys in, it is the hardest decision I have to make but in the end if we can stop him then it's worth it" she replied, I wanted to run away, the pure anger that was in me, it turned into pure fear. "Bu..but I can't control my powers, I'll just get killed" I yelled, I was so annoyed and scared for what was about to happen. Ms Haymond walked over to me and put her hands on my shoulders. "Zack, I promise you that we will do everything we can to help you control your powers, Adam will help you with your powers. You have a very powerful ability, we need you, and I promise we will do everything we can to get you all home back safe. You have my word" she said. "Will you help us?" She asked, I hesitated for a minute. I then came up wiht my decision. "..Yes, I will help" I said, as I looked up at her she gave me a warm smile. She then  patted my shoulders and nodded. "Now go train with Adam, he will teach you everything you need to know. If you need anything at all Ms Thompson and I are up here" she said to me, while beckoning me to go to the downstairs area. I followed her gesture and headed down the stairs, as I got to the bottom I saw that the others were training. I saw Adam waving me over. I took a deep breath, and walked over. Ready to train....

Author's note: Hello there, I apologize sincerely if this chapter seems fast paced or confusing. So in case if you are at all confused let me shorten it for you. 

After the events of the world threat, Zack manages to harness his power for a second from the mass panic in the school. He is then asked by Adam to follow him, they soon enter a very large room, it is the training room. Zack notices that there is 6 people in the room. After going up to see that there is 4 more people, he notices that one of them is the girl that took him from his school. After an intense conversation Ms Haymond (The Headmistress) calls a meeting, she discusses that the eight of them are going to face off against Hallucination and the Death's Nightmare. Zack gets mad at Ms Haymond and confronts her. After a conversation Zack hesitantly agrees to help stop Hallucination and goes to train.
