Somebody was shaking me... Very violently... "Wake up Stariana! Common! Breakfast is ready!" I opened my eyes to see Alois on top of me. I let out a squeal as he pulled me out of bed. "Hannah! Get your arse in here and dress her!" Alois yelled as he dropped my hand. The poor maid came in giving a nod. Alois walked out slamming his shoulder against hers.

"I'm so sorry your treated this way. You done deserve it." I say with a pitiful look. She looks beaten, wore down to the core.

"You shouldn't be giving me any pity my lady. I'm but a mere servant, with a master. I must follow orders, and if I don't I will be punished." Hannah said while helping me step into a dress.

"I will give you pity miss. A woman should never be treated this way, servant or not. Don't worry, I'll be here for you." I said standing up. "I'll be your friend as you can be mine" I said giving her a hug. I felt her flinch to my touch but she gave in pushing me into her.

"I've never had a friend before. Thank you." I said looking up at her.

"Nor have I, my lady" she said guiding me out the door. "Breakfast is ready to be served, my lady" Hannah said opening the door to the dining hall.

I sit down next to Alois. "I hope Hannah behaved accordingly" he said glaring at her

"Yes my dear cousin, I very much like your servants." I said looking at Hannah giving her a nod.

"You shouldn't like them Stariana. They are nothing. I'm their master and they listen to my every command. They are as a bird in a cage. Nothing more."

Nothing... Nothing he says. I just don't get how a human, for Christ's sake, can talk about his own kind.

I started to get mad. But I kept it held in. "Yes Alois, I'm sorry. I shall not patronize with the servants any longer." I said looking down

"For breakfast this morning we have a sunny side up egg with a fresh garden salad with a raspberry dressing." Claude said with a look such as nothing was going on.

"Thank you, Claude." I said picking up my fork. I began to eat, there was a little bit of an awkward silence.

"So Stariana, remember we have the Phantomhive ball to attended at 5:00 sharp. Please be ready. I wouldn't want to waiting on you." he said looking up at me. I excused myself and got up.

"Thank you again Claude, breakfast was delicious." Claude nodded.

"Ahh!! That's too tight!" I yelled

"I'm sorry, My lady. I'll try my best not to cause you any pain." Hannah said as she tightened the strings on my corset. I let out a sigh of relief as the pain came to an end.

"My lady, I made two dresses. That are both navy blue as it complements your figure and complexion. The first, a long gown complimented with jewels at the breast area. The second being a simple dress that comes above the knees." she said holding up the two dresses.

"Oh I just adore the that one!" I said pointing at the simple yet beautiful dress. I wouldn't want to be the center of attention. Hannah nodded as she slipped the dress on, then going down to my feel putting black pumps on. She then pulled my hair out of the pony tail it was in, letting my natural ringlets fall down my back. I stepped back to look at my self in mirror. I looked like a whole different person. I blushed at turned to look at Hannah. "Oh thank you Hannah! Its beautiful! I can't thank you enough!" I said excitedly at her. I pulled her into a hug. I was about to pull away when I heard a yell.
