But the thoughts of the wicked mind of negativity overcame Jisoo. And so her confession for her love towards Rosie was delayed. A long delay.

But when the day came, all it took was one last sip of coffee for her to say it all. Or maker Rosie feel it all.

The day Rosie had left her in her apartment was the day Jisoo thought she needed Rosie. And so she was going to tell her.

For the past year with late night walks, dinner take outs, and most importantly cafe mornings, Rosie felt feelings extraordinary and beautiful towards Jisoo.

Her thoughts, her emotions, everything was hinted with a bliss of excitement. And it all started from the cafe, where they would take a sip of the coffee Jisoo would buy for the two every morning.

But after all they were just friends. Nothing more and nothing less. But the feeling in time progressed and so did their feelings towards each other.

And one day. It was all professed. All of it.

Because that day, Jisoo would leave. That day Jisoo would leave her behind.

And so as they both sat on the cold pristine blue chairs, waiting for the flights to be called. Her hands were laced with Jisoo's. Two cups of coffee by their seats.

"Are you excited?"
She asked.

Though she wasn't quite excited herself.

Jisoo looked at her, confusion in her eyes.

"Should I be excited? I mean I don't want to leave you -"

"You're leaving, okay? Stop convincing yourself that you're not. This is a -"

Suddenly a flight had been announced for departure. And It was Jisoo's.

"- a once and a life time opportunity." Rosie finished.

"So what I'm hearing is, you want me to leave?"

She playfully punched her on her arm.

"Course not! Like I said - it's a once and a life time opportunity." -She says, picking up Jisoo's luggage as they stood from their seats.

And as Jisoo stood she thought, so was she. Rosie was a once and a life time opportunity.
Because the moment she would come back, Rosie has probably moved on with her life.

And as the two walked over to the departure gate the slightest regret washed over Jisoo.

And it very much hurt to leave her thought.

"Ok. It's time to go."

Rosie smiled. But it wasn't a genuine smile. In fact it wasn't even a smile. It was a frown forcing itself to curve back upward.

As the last few of passengers boarded on, she couldn't help but feel the empty hole in her heart starting to open itself again.

And for the last time, they had taken a sip of the coffee Jisoo had bought for both of them. Setting them down on the ground.

"Thank you-"

And for the first time, Jisoo kissed her.

And her heart beat thumping around in her ribcage. An extreme bliss rising in her as the lips she had been curious of feeling for months had finally made contact with hers. And they tasted just like hers.

Coffee.

Take A Sip.

Because nobody knew how long it would take for the two strangers who fell in love, to take a sip of coffee once more.
