Sorry that they look a little blurred its because there screen shots, the actual photos are transferred from my camera to my laptop so there not downloaded onto my phone ( and I didn't save the photos into Google drive soo...😅 my bad)
There photos for my last project 'encounters' at college, the pictures are inspire by the film 'Shindler's list' with the red coat being only in colour. I wanted to have the red coat represent people who struggle with anxiety/depression/xenophobia and how I feel that, although there is a lot being said about the struggle people who suffer with these are going through coming out if lockdown, there isn't a whole lot of action that is making a difference to the situation.
So this was my way of presenting this, as in the film the red coat is also symbolic to the red flag that Jews and many other concentration camp prisoners waved to get the attention of allied forces, to show they needed help and assistance. And at first the allied forces did nothing, they didn't jump straight into helping these people who had arguably suffered the most from the war. It took them time before the change was made, so in a way I feel like this is my way of saying the change needs to happen now if that makes sense. (Although my photos will not be posted to any form of large public viewing board so I guess its here for whoever sees it :) )
Also happy late easter, sorry for the slightly depressing work 😅.
I'll try and make something a bit more fun next time, might take me a while but I'll post again eventually lol(Also please don't use the photos in anything else, they are my work and will go into my online portfolio so I would like to avoid any confusion or disagreement with anyone thank you 😊)
