I sigh sitting on my favorite rock under the seas of Galatea, Galatea is the god of the sea that me and the rest of the sirens worship for protection, oh right I forgot to mention my name, hi! My name is Abharan, my meaning of my name is 'jewel' because I'm the most beautiful siren in my kingdom, I'm the youngest in my family, it's actually an all boy family, the rest of my family are my older brothers, but they're in the army making sure no human or species comes to our side of the seas, my mother is the queen of our side of the seas, my father died when I was seven years old due to a war between a giant octopus and sharks, so in order to protect me my brothers became the royal knights and protectors as my mom baby's me, I hate it when she babies me when my birthday is coming up tomorrow, meaning a giant party of me turning another age, oh right I forgot to mention my age, I'm 19 and turning 20 tomorrow, I'm sorta at the age to marry someone in the kingdom, my mom knows I'm gay, so she's giving me choices of the princes from the other sides of the seas, "Hello abharan, finally coming out of your room and eat with your brothers for once?" Abrecan jokes as I rolled my eyes and sat in the chair next to mother, "this is the reason I stay in my room most of the time." I sighed as Aalton patted me, and smiles, I smiled back, aalton is the only older brother I actually like minus Aeguaeus, he's cool too I guess, but a pain in my tail, as I ate my supper my mother cleared her throat to destroy the silence, "listen sons, I know it has been 8 years since your father died, but I want you all to know that I'm proud of you, you all are reminding me of your father every day." She said as she wipes her face as tears stream down her face, as my older brothers hugged her and so did i, "well has everyone finished?" She asked as we all nodded as we all swam to our rooms, I sat down on my seashell bed in my room reading a book I found since some pirate dropped it in the sea while voyaging, as I continued to read I saw a white ball flow out of the book, I pull it out to see a pearl necklace, "oh clams, so THIS is what humans do to our poor fish!" I said as I pout cutely and sneak out for a night swim, the night sky was beautiful in the ocean view, and went back to my favorite coral rock and look at the moon, the moon seems bigger under water, idk about it in the surface, I always wondered what it would be like having a father, and being a human, having legs and breathing surface air. I smiled as then a dark big shadow loomed over me, then I see a giant ship sail across above me. Then I noticed the flag with a skull on it, oh no, it's a pirate flag! How did they get to the seas of Galatea? In curiosity I swam in the direction of the pirate ship but then I got caught. "Your majesty? Why are you out here in the middle of the night?" A guard asks as he swims towards me as I look at him with a smile, "just getting some fresh water air." I said as he smiles too, "well uh enjoy the rest of your night, but still get some rest, you have a big day tomorrow." The guard says as he swam back into the castle as I follow him, I wonder who is on that ship and I wonder why are they in the seas of Galatea? These oceans are a horrible sea to voyage, I really hope they are careful. As I went to my bedroom and got some rest.

As I laid in my bed as the crew mates sing sea shanties and drink and party, I honestly didn't care. The reason why I'm on this voyage was because A) My father is the captain and is so obsessed with wanting the treasure in the seas of Galatea and B) my father forced me, the girls on this ship was drunk flirting with me so that's why I stayed in my room, once the party died down I came out as my father was steering the ship, I sighed because he somehow heard me and demanded me to come to him. "Bastian. Come here." He said as I punched the air and walked towards him, "yes father?" I asked as he gave me a menacing glance, then I realized what the stare meant and sighed, "yes captain?" I asked as he smiled, "why didn't you party with your crew mates and your dad huh?" He asked as I crossed my arms and leaned back on the pillar, and shrugged. "Just don't like social interaction, and also because the girls were flirting with me." I said as he chuckled, "it's just that they couldn't take their eyes off of your since your so handsome, I mean look at you, your strong, honest, handsome, a brave and intelligent fighter, and judging from your last relationship you were an incredible lover." He said as i rolled my eyes, "Alice had an affair with someone else remember? Only dated me since I'm the prince and the son of the captain?" I said as he made an "oop" face, "oh right, apologies son." He said as he cleared his throat, "what is so important about the treason in these oceans? We're already rich, did gaiya get into your head again?" I asked as he looked away, "I read stories about the seas a Galatea, soon somewhere in this very ocean will hold a treasure of great gems and jewelry, diamonds and emeralds and gold. We will be richer then gaiya and his goons. Haha! I am dying to see the look on his face once I show him the treasure." My father grinned as I rolled my eyes and stared at the see along with the moon, man it is beautiful at night. But then out of the blue I see a bright baby blue light following the ship behind us, I grabbed my telescope and couldn't see anything, but then the light went away, weird. I never read about the creatures here in the oceans, maybe it's an sea animal? No nonsense, there hasn't been a sighting of a creature or anything of the sort. So it can't be that, can it?
