Marco and I have been getting really close. I've haven't really talk to Vinnie in these past days, I used to see him at school hanging around girls and every time at lunch Marco would come to school to drop me food, i would get so happy and i would eat with him in the park, i could tell Vinnie would always stare at me while he was getting flirted with, in first period i would listen to the teacher and never really pay attention to Vinnie, he would try to talk but i would ignore him, ever since those feelings i couldn't risk breaking the rule. Today was Marco's last day in LA, he was leaving really early in the morning tomorrow so i took him thrifting. We looked through clothes when i heard Vinnie's laugh, i turned around and saw him with a girl, i grabbed Marco's wrist and pulled him out of the back and made sure Vinnie could see us.
M: *giggling* what are you doing! i found this nice sweater i was going to get you!
Y: kiss me
M: what?
Y: kiss me now
* Marco grabbed my face stared into my eyes and kissed me*
The store was quiet and I was falling in love with Marco while held my waist and kissed me, i felt the feeling of his warm hands let go and his lips back away from me, i looked up at him and smiled
M: y/n you have no idea how long i wanted to do that* he said while tucked my hair behind my hair*
Y: Marco please don't leave
M: im moving to LA, i wanted to surprise you. so surprise i guess
all i could do was hug him, as i hugged him and i looked at vinnie, he was staring at me with anger and sadness in his eyes, then i saw a tear run down his cheek he wiped the tears and went back to look for clothes with the girl he was with. At that moment i knew he broke the rule.
M: y/n? you okay?
Y: uhhh yeah why?
M: you've been quiet for like that last 5 minutes i asked you if you wanted food
Y: oh sorry i zoned out, um yeah where you wanna eat?
M: Mcdonalds??
Y: it's a date
we got to McDonald's and i couldn't stop thinking about the thrift store, i decided to push it aside since i was with Marco and id didn't want to feel distant.
Y: So Marco when you moving here?
M: well my familiy is palnning to move here after im done with senior year since i got accepted to uni here, i would move here in like 2 weeks so i can start collage.
Y: oh so you have to go home anyways...
M: yeah but its only for 2 weeks then ill be back!
Y: what about the apartment did you find anything?
M: still looking, i'll probably stay in a hotel for now
Y: orr you could stay at mines
M: wait really??
Y: yeah why not
M: you are a life saver y/n
I smiled and started eating my food, i wanted to apologize to Vinnie and i had an idea how to
M: y/n, i know there could've been i better moment to ask you this but do you wanna be my girlfriend??
i looked up from my food and i could see Marco getting all red and flustered, i thought about Vinnie for a split second and then i realized this was what i would never have with Vinnie plus i really liked Marco and i deserved to be happy
Y: yes of course i will
M: wait really
Y: yes
He got up and hugged me
M: i finally get to call you mine.
