Laughter and fun but no mess
No one cares when illness comes
Alone you are, pain in your arms
Pain everywhere, pain in your eyes
Tears flowing yet no loud cries
Just the echo of your loneliness,
And the breaths getting less,
Its quiet and you hyperventilate
No one to calm you or even relate
To the difficulty life presents
Needing strength and hence
I just close my eyes and sleep
After a silent weep
Hope to wake up to a better day
When the sunshine ray
Enters my room and my eyes open
To more light, to the beginning of a new end
