The Season And You

They call it fall because with every leaf that falls,
My heart falls for you,

A gush of wind - numbs my legs,
As I walk through the pathway of deciduous trees,

With every breath I take,
A thousand memories awake,

Yellow leaves, orange lanterns,
Blue soul, My red heart, cries for you,

The autumn birds always whisper to me,
"He is coming,"

And I smile, and laugh with no care,
Imagining your scent filling the air,

Beauty all around,
Give me the freedom to love,

Come beside me,
Let's enjoy the sky,

The reindeers miss following you,
The scarecrows still fear you,

My love, let's relive life,
Let's run freely.

It's been years - years of pain,
And this season reminds me of us.
