Santiago headed towards the bathroom to get a nice shower. He sat down while the shower was pouring down and he just started to think about his love life. He was trully desprate. His best friend now has sort of hurt his feelings. Sure he was having a tough time but he could have used some confidence boost not a silly worthless 'magic' coin. Deep down Santiago felt as if Ryan was pranking him.
After a good 10 minutes of a refreshing shower. Santiago dried himself and then teid a toel around his waist. He walked to the main room where he switched on the tv to some random channel. But truly he did not pay attention to the show, he was just trying to escape from his train of sad toughts. It didn't work. His eye kept moving towards the coin which Ryan gave. It was resting on the cofee table exactly where he left it. Santiago focused on the words 'Unum vis cupiditatis'.
' I wonder what that means. Probably " Magic coins for losers " in french or whatever. Yeah definetly. Just some sick prank from Ryan. Hhhhhhmmm... '
He picked up the coin and observed it closer. He smirked.
" Magic coin huh. You could create me a girl huh. Well then how about an extremely feminine, sexy, cute and the most degenerate one could you do that. Stupid coin. Stupid Ryan. Just a sick prank!!!" Santiago said out loud.
Immediately after he said those words out loud the words shifted and changed into 'Tua vis est praeceptum meum'. Santiago was shocked and threw the coin on the coffee table. He stared at the coin for a couple of minutes. Then the words changed one more time. Now it read 'Mutare quoties horologium ostendit octo'.
" What the frick...!!! Its truly magic? What?!!! Howww???!! Oh my God..!! Wow ... umm wow..." Santiago was excited.
" Wait a minute where is my wish then? Where is the girl? Hmmmm..... Maybe she is in another room...."
Santiago estaticly searched all his rooms. But noone was there. He picked up the coin and tought to himself,
' It can't be fake... I saw the words change. Twice!! '
He took the coin and rushed to his computer. He searched for the meaning of those words. Turns out they were Latin. He found out that 'Mutare quoties horologium ostendit octo' meant 'Change whenever the clock showed eight'.
' What does that supposed to mean.'
He looked at the time displayed by the computer. It was 6:05 a.m. Santiago was puzzled, he wondered why there has to be a change as he only wished for a girlfriend.
'Maybe the coin just changes words from time to time. Thats the change it mentioned maybe. Look at me beleiving in magic..... '
His excitement quickly faded into sorrow. His sceptic personality kicked in and doubted the events. After all he was a blogger for various medical and science research websites. He picked himself up from the chair and headed towards the kitchen to make a cup of coffee.
While he was brewing himself a cup of coffee. He looked at the digital clock at his hall. The time was 5:08 a.m. He smirked facing the clock and continued making coffee. All while wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. All of a sudden Santiago felt his head getting heavier. He shrugged it off as he tought it was becase his hair got wet or something. He grabbed his cup of coffee and headed towards the couch to watch a movie and trying to forget about the coin.
The coin however was still on his computer desk. The words has now changed. Now it read 'Capillus augmentum'. Santiago was watching 'Angel has Fallen'. He wanted to watch it for a long time and what better time to watch it then on a Friday morning with no work for atleast 3 days of work free time.
Time - 5:14 a.m
