Prologue Part 4

We see Y/N humming on a hillside with the egg in his lap. He looks at the sky to see stars, in the sky, he seems to be drawn to a specific star, standing up and staring at it, he sees it has a different color, a blue so light, it could be mistaken for white, he looks at the location of the north star and determines that the star he's drawn to is south eastern from the Guildhall. Deciding to get some rest, he sets down the egg, puts it upright and stands up, he picks up the egg and walks to the room Makarov rented for him. Upon arriving, he gently places the egg down near the heater and climbs into the bed, however he can't seem to fall asleep, searching for a comfortable position, eventually he finds one and falls asleep. Upon waking up he sees a black and white cat like creature in his face, staring at him.

Y/N: Wah!

Surprised, Y/N falls out of bed, surprising the monster cat as well.

???: Crap! You ok?!

Y/N: You can talk?!

???: Well duh, I am an exceed.

Y/N: What?

Y/N looks around the room and sees the egg hatched and soon pieces together that this "exceed" came from the egg.

Y/N: Would it be wrong to assume that you don't have a name?

Exceed: No, it wouldn't... Hey, maybe you can throw some names out there, I'll see what I like.

Y/N: Ok... how about, Mona?

Exceed: No, it's good but I don't like it.

Y/N: Morgana?

Exceed: I like it, I am Morgana!

Y/N: Well Morgana, I'm Y/N.

Morgana: Nice to meet you partner!

Y/N: Come on, let's go introduce you to the guild.

Morgana. Wait.

Y/N: Hmm?

Morgana: My egg only split into two pieces, wanna surprise them?

Y/N: Yeah, let's do it.

Morgana gets on one side of the eggshell and Y/N puts the two together. Y/N walks to the guildhall and kicks on the door so someone opens it. Eventually Natsu opens the door.

Natsu: Heya Y/N!

Y/N: Hey Natsu, mind letting me in?

Natsu: Sure!

Natsu moves aside and Y/N walks into the guildhall, everyone gathers, looking at the egg.

Erza: Is it cracked?

Y/N: Yeah, I think it's about to hatch.

Y/N taps it twice and Morgana pops out, surprising everyone. Morgana and Y/N begin to laugh, eventually Y/N calms down enough to explain the situation.

Y/N: Morgana here hatched this morning, and surprised me, we thought that we'd surprise you all.

Morgana: Ha! The looks on your faces!

Natsu: It can talk?!

Morgana: I'm a, "he"! Not an it!

After some explanations, Y/N brings up a topic that he was anxious for.

Y/N: I want to take a job, but I don't know which one to take.

Natsu: I'll help you pick!

Gray: Not a chance flame brain! You'll just pick one with a group of monsters!

Natsu: Like you're any better! You're gonna pick one that you have to do boring chores!

Gray: It's much safer for his first job!
