Monika POV

I have a bad feeling about Natsuki going to MC's house... maybe I should come over to check on them.

MC POV

I have her pinned against the wall at this point, we both laugh hard. I go in for some frosting on her finger and lick it off. "You... You're not supposed to do that unless you really like them...". After she says that the room goes quiet, the tv shuts off, and I stare down into Natsuki's never-ending beautiful pink eyes.

"Natsuki...", "MC...". Should I tell her? Is this my chance? Questions along with answers wrack my brain as I become completely immobile. My thoughts cloud up and all I can think is Natsuki. "Natsuki?", "yes...?".

TIME TO GET CHEESY AF

"I... I think I.., you are more beautiful than the sakura petals along the street, There is no person in the world that has a more fun personality, I would ask no one, absolutely no one, but you... Please be my girlfriend Natsuki" She looks down at the floor as I let go of her hands. Natsuki looks back up at me, tears in her eyes. "I... I love you to MC, I love you so mu~"

She comes in for a tight hug and I'm taken back, but hug her too. "Natsuki, come with me", "O...Ok," I walk into the kitchen and give her a hug. *knock knock knock*. Someone walks in while I and Natsuki hug and she is crying. It's Monika, "Hey guys wha~", I put Natsuki more on my arm, "Oh hey Monika, Natsuki just tripped on my island's corner, right Nat?", "yeah.." She tries to stop crying and gets up.

"Anyways Monika, what are you doing here?", "Just came to see how the baking is coming along, Can I have one?" Monika asks. "Of course not! They're probably still really hot!". "Ok Natsuki, no need to be mean," I say as I get up. "But.. Oh, never mind I'll be right back ok?", "Where you going?", "The bathroom if you must know." She says.

I walk outside with Monika to catch some fresh air. "I know you guys were hugging", "What!? I mean, no we weren't!", " Don't play dumb with me MC I can see you always-, I-I mean I was looking through your window".

"WHAT?! YOU WERE LOOKING THROUGH MY WINDOW?!" I get up from my chair. "That is just creepy Monika.", "I know but I just felt like I had to.", "I don't care what your excuse is that is not cool, and we were only hugging because I was trying to make her leg feel better.", "Oh, so it's on her leg huh? I'll go check just to make sure." She gets up to go see if I'm lying about Natsuki's leg.

"No, you can't!", I yell. "Why not MC? Unless you are lying to me, I'm going to go check her le-", "My leg?" Natsuki shows up and pulls down her sock a bit and reveals a gash on her leg. "Natsuki..." I mutter, "Oh no Natsuki, that's one bad cut. What an evil counter, hahaha" Monika tries to laugh it off while turning to face me.

"Sorry for being so suspicious of you MC, and you to Natsuki, See ya guys later, hopefully the cupcakes turn out good.", "Good, I'll show you, Monika. They will be the single best cupcakes you ever had, you window watcher!", "Phew, are you ok Natsuki? you didn't have to go as far as to cut your own leg."

"of course I did MC, Monika is too sharp to just let it go without checking my leg.", "Well, At least your ok, what do you say since the cupcakes are done, we go to the park?", "I would love to MC, I really would. But my father just texted me to come home." She says. "Aww man, after school tomorrow then?", "Ok yeah, that sounds fine. If my dad says yes.", "Ok see ya later. Lo~" I stutter.

"I love you to MC." She smiles and jogs away. I look up at the sky and the fading sunset and think. Was this the right choice? Of course, it was. What am I even talking about? I walk inside and grab some ramen and put it in the microwave. "Oh crap Natsuki left the cupcakes here, I have to bring them back to her."

Natsuki POV

I jog home thinking about what MC had told me today. When I arrive at the door I take a deep breath and enter. "Hey, Da~" *BANG* I get hit in the head with something. "The first time I make dinner in 3 weeks and you late!" my dad says drunkenly, I look up and see a large shattered glass bottle of booze. I feel a sharp pain in my forehead as I blackout.

MC POV

It's really late to do something like this but, it's something a good boyfriend would do right? right. I run up the street and go around the corner to see Natsuki's house, I walk up to the porch and a bad feeling washes over me.
