Hide and seek

Y/n's POV
Me and Riley are currently tucked in a little secret room behind some clothes in me and Jordan's bedroom closet so he can't find us (hide and seek obviously) and I'm trying my hardest to get Riley to stop talking and moving as I hear Jordan's voice get closer as he walks around searching "Ryry?!baby!..y/n?.. where are you guys" I hear him call and then I hear his movements throughout the house suddenly stop all at once and I immediately hush Riley as his loud footsteps approach the closet "Babies where are you?" He whispers and it all goes quite for a moment but just as quick as that moment came I hear the small door and him jump in all at once "FOUND YOU" he yells startling me as our 4 year old laughs running into his arms he picks her up and smirks at me helping me out as I pout "Now I have to look" I huff annoyed but smiling nonetheless "Sorry baby but you gotta go count now" he laughs turning me around and smacking my butt as he walks away to go hide with Riley. I roll my eyes sighing and go downstairs to count , and as I hit 65 I walk back up the stairs and through the top half of the house looking around then I proceed to go back downstairs and search there but after looking throughout most of the house I am close to giving up, worried they are already hot or uncomfortable wherever they're hiding but then I realize I didn't check in the kitchen and I quietly go towards the white door "Baby ri? Are you in here bubs" I call smirking as I hear her laugh quietly and I go to the pantry scaring her "Boo!" I laugh as she screams jumping into my arms as I catch her, playing with her curly hair and whispering quietly "where's daddy?" Which she replies and points to another pantry and we quietly go to it opening it to which I see no Jordan causing me and Riley to share a confused look which immediately turns into a terror making us scream as arms wrap around us from behind "Boo!" He whispers in my air sending tingles down my spine but I brush them off composing myself and turning , Riley still in my arms "You were suppose to let me find you" I poke his chest and he laughs "Where's the fun in that?" He mocks grabbing our small daughter from my arms and walking towards our room probably wanting to watch a movie and cuddle with her. I roll my eyes sighing (low key mad I didn't find him)  and make them some popcorn taking it to them in a bowl and putting sour patch on the side (try that combo so flipping good) and placing it in the middle of them handing my 4 year old a juice box and Jordan a water "Thank you mommy" Riley yells sending me a kiss in the air (that makes sense.) going back to what I think was Moana "Of course baby" I smile tiredly kissing her dark brown almost black locks I go back to my normal stance and return to the kitchen starting on dinner so I can shower me and Riley,put her to bed and finally go to sleep myself, as I strain the noodles from the water I feel a pair of large strong arms wrap around me "Hey baby" Jordan whispers kissing the back of my head and placing his head in the crook of my neck I hum and turn his way wrapping my arms around his shoulders his strong arms lifting me onto the counter as he stands between my legs  "Are you sleepy?" He questions noticing my expression and rubbing my cheek softly "Yeah but dinner is almost ready and after that I just need to shower me and Riley and then I can sleep" I smile trying to sound enthusiastic he shakes his head in disapproval "No my love, after dinner go shower and then sleep, don't worry about riles I'll shower her and get her ready for bed okay?" He tells me not really asking I think for a moment and I just nod "Okay thank you baby" I smile genuinely happy I will get a bit more rest he smiles back "Baby you work to much please don't stress talk to me, if your tired let me know I don't have a problem cooking or taking care of OUR daughter you just need to communicate with me so I know I can help and I'm sorry to I should have been a better husband and aske-" I cut him off kissing him to which he quickly returns but scared riley can walk in at any moment I pull away and smile "Don't you dare doubt yourself Jordan your a perfect husband your sweet,strong,tough,goofy oh and definitely sexy" I laugh as he laughs along "and your just as good at being a dad" I compliment "Thank you baby your sexy to" he smirks slapping my ass AGAIN and setting me down so I can finish up I gasp and push him out of the kitchen as he laughs probably going back to check on Riley not to long after I yell to them from downstairs so they can come down "Dinner is ready my loves" I smile happy I can sleep soon ,as they approach I finish putting down the bowl of salad and running to the kitchen for forks "Thank you mommy" Riley hugs me with her small arms as I hug back giving her a plate of spaghetti and a garlic bread ,her immediately stuffing it into her mouth "Don't choke baby" Jordan tells her handing her some juice I rub her back softly putting Jordan's plate in front of him and setting the fork down then I go to my seat happy I can rest a bit now, after dinner I tell Riley to go upstairs and get ready for bath time and I wash the dishes,Jordan helping by drying them and placing them in the dishwasher after the last fork he grabs my hand and me being confused I just follow to tired to talk he sits me on the bed taking off my shirt and pants placing me in one of his shirts he tells me to go brush my teeth and lay down I smile and do as he asked after my night routine I lay down in our soft comforters happily drifting off ,soon I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and I stir in my slumber turning to my husband "babe is Riley asleep ?" I whisper half asleep " Yes my love she is sound asleep don't worry" he whispers back playing with my hair and just as fast as I woke up I fell fast asleep him kissing my head and drifting off soon after.The end
