Chapter 9: Surprise!

   Elsa and Anna were waiting  for  Punzie, Eugene, Astrid, Sam, Jeff and Jen, and Vincent. While waiting, they made chocolate cake. After making the cake, the doorbell rings. Punzie and the other people come in. "You got it?" Elsa asks Punzie.

Punzie hums in response, "Mmhmm. Do you want me to wrap it?"

"Yes, please." Elsa nods

"I brought wrapping paper with different kinds of dragons." Astrid says as she hands the wrappinh paper to Punzie, "He loves dragons, you guys should see his locker."

Elsa giggles and says, "Yeah. His room is also filled with dragons."

"Do you have tape, Anna?" Punzie asks Anna as she folds a paper.

"Yep." Anna says, "Here."

Punzie takes the tape and tapes the whole box with paper, "Thank you."

"We should go."  Cincent recommends, "He might be waiting."

"We should bring Mrs. Haddock too!" Anna says excitedly. Everyone nods in agreement and they head out to knock at the house across the street. A girl with crazy red hair opens the door, "Aye, lass? What seems to be the problem?"

"Can we talk to Mrs. Haddock?" Elsa says politely.

"Okay." She says, "Mrs. Haddock! Some youngins, like me, are looking for ye!" She looks at them, "I'm Merida, for yer informetion."

"Hi, Merida. I am Elsa, these are my friends Eugene, Astrid, Jeff, Jen, Vincent. This is my cousin Punzie. My sister Anna." Elsa introduces.

Valka appears in the door, "Merida, please go back to your mom." Merida nods and goes in. Valka goes out and says, "We should get going. You have it?"

"Yes." Astrid nods.

"Good, we should go." Valka says. They go to Valka's van and ride to the hospital.

--after 5 minutes outside Hiccup's room--

   "Elsa, come in with me." Valka says.

"You guys, I'll give the signal. Okay?" Elsa says all giddy.

"Yep. Now go in there." Anna pushes Elsa. Valka laughs and pushes the door.

Hiccup was sitting up, "Oh, hey, mom! Elsa!"

"Hi, Hic! How're you doing?" Elsa grins widely.

"Better. Kinda." Hiccup mumbles.

Elsa looks down, "I'm just going to the bathroom." Elsa goes out the room and smirks. "Come on, guys." She said waving her hands, "Double check. You have the cake?"

"Yeah, it's over here." Sam says.

"Prostrthic leg?" Elsa asks.

"Yes, I think it's in my bag." Jeff says.

"Presents and cards?" Elsa raises her eyebrows.

"We have all of them, Elsa." Jen takes the bag and opens it.

"Good, now come on!" Elsa pushes the door.

"Surprise, Hiccup!" Everyone shouts.

Hiccup almost jumped out of his bed, "Gosh! Guys, you're here!"

"Of course, Hic! We're your best friends. Why would we not surprise you?" Elsa smirks.

"Hiccup, we brought something." Punzie glares at Elsa and Elsa shakes her head.

"W-we brought cake!" Astrid says knowing what the glare means. She stands im the middle of Elsa and Punzie and whispers, "I know what it means, no, Punz, we have to give it later."

--after 10 minutes--

"You guys, thank you!" Hiccup exclaims, "All this. Thank you."

"We still have something, Hiccup." Elsa handed a box.

Hiccup removes the wrapping paper, "E-Elsa? A p-prostethic l-leg?" Hiccup looks at Elsa, "T-thanks! I did not expect this. You came too far!" Hiccup leaned in to hug the group. The group hugs him back, "I can't ask for better friends."
