INSIDE SCOOP : IRIS WHYTE RETURNS TO ACTING IN
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES?

HEY SUGAR'S,

So, we all know Iris Whyte as the girl who rose to fame after her award-winning performance in an episode of American Horror Story resulting in her BAFTA award. In the third season of TVD, she played Daphne Salvatore becoming a fan favourite before her death. But, many fans are probably very happy to hear that @julieplec has just confirmed the returns of the British actress to season 7 of TVD. ( I for one, am very excited about this ! )

We last saw Whyte playing her character 'Daphne Salvatore' the youngest half-sibling of Damon and Stefan Salvatore who was quite the troublemaker amongst Mystic Falls. When the character Daphne was first introduced in season 3 she came with quite the entrance, plotting against her half-brothers with the originals family where she grew her relationship with Kol Mikaelson. However, In the last episode of season four, we saw the youngest Salvatore had tragically committed suicide due to her boyfriend Kol's death back in the earlier episodes of season four, we were left with the emotional scene of Daphne overdosing and then resorting to pulling her own heart out ( admit it, we all cried. )

Let's be honest, we all have been missing the snarky seventeen year-old vampire who added her sarcastic humour to the series as well as her interesting relationships with both Kol and Elijah Mikaelson.

Will this love triangle continue? What will she say when she finds out Kol is alive once again? How will she return from a death like that? Will she have a NEW love interest?

so this is my first ever tvd fic, and it is a social media au! also the storyline might not make sense but i am trying to line it up, let's just pretend Kai Parker is now in season 6,7 and 8 as he should of been.

oh also the character Daphne Salvatore is the half-sibling and the three of them share the same dad, Giuseppe Salvatore. The plot is that, Giuseppe had an affair with another women but during the birth the mother sadly passed away. Giuseppe bought the baby home to live with his family, which pushed Rosé away even more. Stefan was around eight months old ( meaning there is only an 8 month age gap, so they are both 17. )
