She loves stargazing, right?
I was laying on the grass next to her watching the the dark sky with stars like diamonds and the moon glowing majestically. It was our 3rd anniversary and I wanted to take her somewhere special. I could smell her perfume that had a slight scent of lavender in it. I like the smell of lavender actually, it isn't as intoxicating as vanilla that most girls use. It is balanced, feminine and a slight bit sad, perfect for the occasion in my opinion.
While we were watching the stars she was telling me old legends of Northern gods.
How Yggdrasil in the center of the world connecting the world of the gods, people and the world ruled by Hela the goddess of death.
I loved her voice, it was unique and perfect in every way. I could listen to her for hours just to hear her voice.
Then she suddenly stopped.
"Hey, can you see that"
"Can I see, What"
"A shooting star, quickly make a wish"
I knew exactly what to wish for, I wished that she would always be mine. She was so perfect and I loved her so dearly, and I couldn't bear to see her with someone else. I didn't tell her what I wished for of course, because then it wouldn't come true.
"Maybe we should eat the food you packed?" she said with a faint smile after watching the stars in silence, just a moment longer.
"Yes, I have a lot of chocolate since you like it so much"
"Ooo, what do you have?"
"I've got a few chocolate cupcakes, Skittles, crisps-
"You mean chips"
"Yeah alright, CHipS and chocolate covered strawberries."
"I've got some sprite for the drink"
"Sprite? Hahagaga-
"HEY SPRITE IS GOOD! she shouted"
"Yeah okay, now give me that cupcake"
I took the cupcake out of her hand slightly brushing her fingers. I think she might have blushed but I couldn't see well in the dark. At least she looked at me straight in the eyes and smiled.
I loved her smile, her teeth weren't perfect but her smile still warmed my heart. Her eyes were the big deal though, I could read her as an open book from them and I could see a warm hope in them. A hope about a future she wouldn't be able to have.
"You know, you resemble this cupcake a lot" I said watching her eyes go from happy to confused.
"How so?"
"You are as cute, happy and unique. And I would do anything to keep you away from others."
"Aww, you resemble cheese because you are as cheesy" she said with a grin.
"Woow", I said while pulling her to a kiss.
She didn't hesitate to kiss me back.
It is time, I thought.
The kiss seemed to last forever until we finally separated.
I quickly pulled it out of my pocket and did it.
She looked at me with horror in her eyes when she saw the knife stabbed into her stomach.
I watched her clothes quickly turning red and her eyes getting filled with tears cause by heartbreak, betrayal and pain.
"Why? What have I ever done to you" She screamed her tears running down her cheeks. She started screaming of the pain.
I put my hand on her cheek, soaked by the tears.
"Honey, honey, honey. I thought you knew me better... You are so precious to me, so adorable.
I wasn't lying when I said that I'll do anything to keep you from others. You are now mine. Forever.
I glanced once more at her eyes, now filled with emptiness and hate.
I left her on the grass to pass away. Now I had made sure she wouldn't ever love anyone else but me. Only me. I could hear her deep breaths finally stopping. Her situation could have been much worse. I mean she loves stargazing, right?
