Corregidor Island, Bataan
"They're here," Ding said as two figures floated right above them.
"Took them long enough," Dyesebel said. "Who's that man she's with?"
"Oh that? Wait. Is that... Enteng?!"
"Hey, Ding. How you doin'?" Enteng said as they landed. Pedro suddenly appeared out of nowhere, bewildered by Corregidor.
"Good. You can fly now?"
"Yeah. Thanks to this," Enteng said as he showed Ding the buckle of his belt. Dyesebel saw it, too, and an incomprehensible shock ran across her face.
"Where did you get that?" she asked Enteng.
"Long story. Are you the mermaid?" Enteng answered.
"Yes. I am Queen Dyesebel of the Sama Bajau Tribe. Now. Answer my question. Where did you get that stone on your belt?"
"Hi Dyesebel!" Pedro greeted her, extending his right hand. Dyesebel smirked, then faced Enteng again.
"He got that from Lizardo. Five years ago," Rocky said.
"Didn't you know that putting two of the three eyes too close to each other is too risky?" Dyesebel.
"What eye?" Enteng asked, confused.
"That thing on your belt is the Eye of Onos, the storm god. You shouldn't be flaunting it like that, and you shouldn't also be flaunting it too close to the Eye of Alunsina," Dyesebel said as she stared at Rocky's necklace popping out her red leather jacket.
"Dyesebel. Explain it to them once all of this is over. As agreed, we're just back ups," Rocky interrupted.
"Back ups? Where's the fun in that?" Pedro said, smiling like an idiot.
"Shut up, Pedro. I did not bring you here to annoy us," Rocky raised her eyebrows.
"Oh, sorry."
Rocky faced Dyesebel again. "Alright. We're just back ups, okay? We won't be joining your war unless there's something that you cannot handle, understood?"
"Understood," Dyesebel answered.
"Alright. So do we attack them now?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Prepare your army. We'll be watching from above. Pedro and Ding will be down here for assist."
"I don't have an army," Dyesebel said.
"Excuse me?" Rocky was getting irritated.
"I don't have an army. The governors of Maharlika refused to help me when they found out that you will be here."
"Stop shitting on me, Dyesebel. Prepare your army, or you're on your own."
"The last of my troops were killed the night before I got shot," Dyesebel said.
"Oh crap! This is bullshit!" Rocky said as she lit a Marlboro red hanging from her mouth. "So you're saying that you want to go to war and you don't have a single piece of soldier or military or something like that?"
"Yes."
"So, we're basically wasting our time here. Know what, never mind. We're out," Rocky said as she started to levitate.
"Wait. Please. Stay. I need your help. I'll stick with the agreement. Please."
Rocky was already a few feet above sea level. She hesitated for a while, then went back down.
