Mt. Daguldol

San Juan, Batangas

2 Weeks after the War of Maharlika

"You kept it this far?" Ding asked Rocky as they landed on the summit of Mt. Daguldol.

"Obviously, dumbass," Rocky answered, irritated.

She then walked to a stone somewhere in the middle of the summit and touched it for a while, her eyes closed in deep thought. After a few seconds, she stood up and punched the stone.

A hole appeared on the ground. She kneeled down and put her hands into the hole she created. It took her a minute or two before she pulled her hands out of the hole.

She was holding an old box, soiled and battered from years of being hidden beneath the ground.

"I'd rather have it hidden here, far from us, far from people who might want to use it for bad things," Rocky said as she tried to open the box.

"Well, you could have killed Qianliyan with it easier than let Dyesebel do what she did," Ding scratched his head.

"Killing Qianliyan was not mine, it was Dyesebel's. Besides, I doubt this one would still be able of killing another demon."

Rocky finally opened the box and stared at what's inside.

A watch with a wide leather strap, and a dagger. Both broken beyond repair.

"Then why get it now?" Ding was very confused.

Rocky took the dagger out of the box. She pulled her necklace out of her red leather jacket, its light flooding the place. The dagger started to glow bright red, as if it was put into fire to soften. Not five seconds passed and a bright, red light came out of its broken blade, creating a sword.

"A greater threat is coming. And I hope I will not have to use these two soon."

The End.
