Charli's POV
"You look amazing!" Alex squealed in excitement.
I came out of the bathroom in a black tank top and an ivory skirt with an orange jacket.
I, Charli, was going on a blind date. I've been trying to expand my options because Light clearly isn't interested in me.
"You really think so?" I asked twirling around.
"Yes!" Alex yelled.
She embraced me in a hug.
"I'm proud of you Charli. Your expanding and trying new things." She said as she pulled out of the hug.
"I'm just going on a date Alex." I laughed rolling my eyes amusingly.
"I know but.." She suddenly stopped.
"Look at the time! You have to go!" Alex yelled ushering me towards the door.
"I'm going, I'm going!" I replied.
I walked out to my car and hopped in the front seat.
I was excited. I was trying to get over Light but something kept me going for him. I was still in love with him..
I started the car and drove off the coffee shop. It's where I was meeting the mysterious man.
When I arrived at the coffee shop, I took in how cute it was. It looked like the perfect place for a first date.
I walked in to a quaint place. There were a lot of people which made me nervous on who my mysterious date was.
That's when I heard a voice behind me.
"Are you Charli?" A voice came from behind.
I quickly spun around to a man with brown hair and emerald eyes.
"Yes that's me." I said smiling and tucking hair behind my ear.
"Oh well I'm Jake. Do you want to sit down?" He asked motioning towards a booth.
"O-oh yes!" I said nervously.
We both sat down and almost immediately a waitress came over to our booth.
"Hello. I'm Katy and I'll be your waitress, Can I start you off with anything?"
"I'll take a coffee, milk and sugar please." Jake responded to the waitress.
"Okay." The waitress said as she wrote it down.
"And for you Miss?" She asked.
"Oh I'll take a caramel Frappuccino." I said making yo my mind quickly.
"Okay I'll be back with your orders."
"So.." I said breaking the silence.
"I have a letter for you Charli." He responded randomly.
"A-A letter?" I said surprised.
"Yes." He said shifting slightly and reaching towards his back pocket.
When he retrieved the paper, he opened it up and began.
Charli,
Not a day goes by when I don't think of you.
You are my sunshine, My moonlight and my passion.
Your smile is brighter than any fireflies and your laugh is more sweeter than honey.
I love you Charli.
I was completely taken aback from this. He loved me already? He really seemed to know me.
"B-but h-how did you.."I stuttered and then the answer was revealed to me.
Light was walking towards our table. Jake had already been looking at him.
When Light reached our table, he immediately spoke to me.
"You like it?" He asked.
I motioned towards the letter and than looked up at him again.
He nodded his head and smiled.
I wasted no time standing up and wrapping my arms around him in a big hug.
I looked down at Jake who nodded at Light and then nodded at me. I understood.
I looked back to Light and whispered "I love you too."
I pressed my lips on to his and we shared a long passionate kiss. I didn't matter to me that most of the restaurant was staring at us. We were in our own world of romance and passion.
When we finally pulled away from each other. We acknowledged the people staring at us. He we kind of just chuckled awkwardly.
I looked down at Jake and gave him an smeared wave but he just laughed and waved back.
Then me and Light walked out of the coffee shop and in to the parking lot.
When we alone I looked back up at him.
"So how about another kiss?" I said smiling flirtatiously.
Light chuckled and we wrapped our arms around each other and leaned in once more.
This was it. My lover.
