It was a quiet afternoon at the house. The squad seemed to be busy with other activities. Charli was out on a walk, taking advantage of the lovely weather. Jade and Drake were in their room playing video games quietly. Jaxx and Sora were doing sudoku puzzles or something. And Light, Levi and Luca were bonding , which made me happy.
It was just me and Zach in the kitchen. "You hungry?" Zach asked randomly. "Yeah I actually kind of am." I said, touching my stomach. "Why don't we make something?" Zach suggested. He opens the cabinet. All there was in the cabinet was a bag of almonds and a can of tuna. "What about the fridge?" I asked.
"Nothing. All that's in there is some leftover pudding from dinner and a couple bottles of water." He sighed. "We really need to go grocery shopping." I laughed. Zach laughed as well. "Why don't we just get takeout?" Zach asked.
"Good idea. From where?" I asked.
"Well, There's this really good Italian place, Basil, a few minutes from here." Zach suggested. "Tina's is better. It's got some great pasta." Alex argued. "I don't think so. Basil has for some great pizza." Zach argued back. "Well! Why don't we just see who's is better!" Alex exclaimed. "Let's do it!" Zach said, grabbing his wallet. We rushed to the nearby restaurants and placed our orders. After coming back to the house, We prepared our the food, and our stomachs. "Okay begin on three." Alex said, staring at the food. "Okay. I'm going to win this, you might as well quit now." Zach said confidently. "Oh whatever! I'm going to win. 1..2..3!" Alex exclaimed. They both stuffed their faces with pasta, pizza and garlic bread. By the time they were finished they were both laying down on the couch, exhausted. "So." Alex groaned. "Who do you think won?" Alex asked, laying on her back on the couch. "I don't even know." Zach laughed, moving closer to Alex. Alex moved her position on the couch to make room for Zach. Zach and Alex cuddled on the couch as they rest there. "I bet I won." Zach said chuckling. "How would you have won?" Alex asked, flipping over so she faced Zach. There bodies were so close. "You can't fit that big of a meal in that small belly of yours." Zach laughed, tickling her stomach. Alex giggled. "Stop!" She laughed. "You may have a bigger stomach but I have a HUGE heart!" Alex argued back. "You have the biggest heart." Zach said kissing her forehead. "So do you." Alex said, pressing a small kiss to his lips. To her surprise, Zach kissed back. They lay there on the couch lips touching, feeling a wave of calm come over them. "I love you." Alex said in between kisses. "I love you more." Zach said, taking a break from the kiss and immediately going back in.
