Louis woke up to a white Christmas.

The snow was beautiful outside, and there were many icicles at the top of their roof. It was very cold, and Louis didn't plan on leaving the house that day because of it. He'd rather spend the day in his pajamas watching Christmas movies and eating cookies.

Louis loved Christmas very much. He loved the joy of giving and receiving presents. He loved the decorations and food. It was his favorite holiday. His birthday was the day before, so that was a win too.

He was making a big breakfast for them, letting Scott sleep in. He prayed Scott was in a good mood. He's ruined Christmas in the past by starting fights for no reason or just by being in a bad mood. Louis didn't feel like dealing with his wrath today. He absolutely didn't want to be hit today either.

Scott came into the living room a half hour later with a messy bed head. "Good morning."

"Good morning!" Louis said excitedly. "Merry Christmas!"

Scott smiled tiredly. "Merry Christmas."

They ate breakfast in silence. Louis missed the days when they talked the entire time at Christmas breakfast. He missed the love they used to have.

"Can we build a snowman?" Louis burst out with excitement.

Scott thought about it with an irritated glance. "I guess..."

"Yay!" Louis squealed and continued to eat. He loved building snowmen and playing in the snow.

After breakfast, they headed over to the Christmas tree to exchange gifts. There was only a few gifts under the tree.

"Open mine first!" Louis said and gave Scott his presents.

Louis got him a new pair of shoes and a watch. He hoped he liked them. They weren't cheap.

"Thank you," Scott said unenthusiastically.

Louis frowned slightly. Was it not good enough? I spend my money on that and you can't even be a little grateful?

He opened his presents happily. Scott got him a beautiful silver bracelet.

"Thank you!" Louis said and put it on. "I love it! It's so pretty!"

"Now don't lose it," Scott said with a small smile.

"I won't," Louis told him.

Louis was very happy. This was the best present he's been given by him in a long time. He was going to keep it safe.

Louis hugged him gratefully.

"Louis, it's just a bracelet," Scott said annoyed.

Louis pulled away. "I know, but it's special since you got it for me."

They spent the day building a snowman and watching Christmas movies. Louis could tell Scott was annoyed with him, but he didn't say anything. He didn't want it to turn into a fight, especially on Christmas.

Louis also got a present for Harry. He wrapped it himself and was very proud of it. He secretly bought it at the store after Scott left for work a few days ago. He planned to give it to Harry tomorrow, but it was currently hiding under their bed.

The next day, Scott left for work. Louis realized he didn't even miss him.

Louis went to the bakery. He was very excited. He was going to Harry's house after he closed up the shop. They were going to exchange presents, and he was very excited for Harry to open his present. He hoped he liked it. He was even more excited for another present too.
