Chapter 6 - Reunion

Rey's P.O.V.

"How- how are you here, how a-are you alive, I saw you die!?" I asked my voice already cracking.

"I was in the world between worlds" he said smiling, I thought back to the last time I saw him smile, it was that night.

"I tried to bring you back, I-I couldn't". I said tears threatening to fall down the side of my face.

"I'm ok, I'm alive and I'm here". He said with teary eyes...

I instantly ran and hugged him as he pulled me into his embrace, "you're really here" I whispered as he just held me tighter. As we stood there I felt as if a part of myself that I lost long ago had finally returned, he had finally returned...

Bens P.O.V.

I held her close not ever wanting to let go, I heard her whisper that 'I'm really here' and all I did was hold her tighter, by this time we were both in tears and for the next few minutes I forgot about everything that was happening I had forgotten about the war, my mission everything, all that mattered was that she was here, she was with me...

We stood like that for a few minutes before eventually pulling away, I took a hold of her hand and she smiled, maybe it wasn't too late to bring her back maybe there was still a chance...we just stood there staring at each other until something flashed across her eyes and she let go of my hand and spoke.

"Ben, you have to tell me where the resistance is" she said.

"I can't do that, but I'm here to take you home, it's not too late...you can come back with me,  come home". I told her as she walked away from me.

"The resistance is not my home! My home is here." she told me with determination and anger in her voice.

"Rey... this is not your home, you don't belong here, WE don't belong here!" I tell her trying to convince her.

"You've been gone for months you have no idea what's going on anymore". She told me as she turned and faced me.

"Then tell me". I say taking her hand.

She is silent for a minute before letting of my hand and asking me where the resistance is again. I tell her that I can't tell her. Suddenly I am force pushed back into the wall, I look up and see Rey staring at me... well that's a way to cut a reunion short...

"I need to know, so you either tell me or we do this my way" she said.

"I can't". I told her.

"Then we do this my way, I'm sorry ben but this is going to hurt" she tells me before her eyes go yellow her eyes turned into the color of siths eyes and before I know it my head felt like it was on fire, I know what shes doing, she looking through my mind trying to find the location of the resistance.
