Reylo The Return

Prologue

Ben's  P.O.V.

Ben crawled his way out of the dark pit only to see Rey lying on the floor motionless, he slowly made his way over to her and found her dead. Ben held Rey's lifeless body close to him and then slowly moved his hand and placed it on her stomach.

Ben's thoughts: Earlier Rey healed me using a new force trick, maybe I could do the same to save her

Ben closed his eyes and focused all his energy on saving Rey, a few moments later he feels a hand on top of his, he opened his eyes and looked down at her.

Rey's P.O.V.

I felt myself getting dragged out of the darkness and back to my body just as I felt all my energy return, I placed my hand on whoevers hand was holding me. I blinked a few times and sat up surprised to see ben holding me, I sat up shocked just looking at him I finally whispered "ben" , I smiled and brushed my hand on his cheek, he smiled a little bit and kept staring at me, I couldn't hold back anymore, I smashed my lips onto his and I felt him wrap his arm around my waist and pull me closer to him.

when I pulled away I smiled at him and he laughed a little bit and smiled at me but soon after his smile faded and he began to fall backwards, I reacted by trying to stop his fall. I held his hand tight and just stared at him with tears in my eyes but he began to fade and I felt him slipping away and that's when I realized what he had done, he continued to fade away until nothing but his clothes remained...

Ben's P.O.V.

I felt the palm of a hand over my hand so I opened my eyes and looked down and saw Rey, she was alive, I saved her, I suddenly felt a rush of relief wash over me. She sat up staring at me and broke the silence by saying my name, she placed her hand on my cheek and  I couldn't help but smile, before I knew it Rey kissed me and I kissed her back as I pulled her closer to me, I didn't want this to end... When we pulled apart she looked at me and smiled, I laughed a little and smiled back at her, I suddenly felt myself lose the remaining energy and I began to fall backwards, I was slipping away and  I knew it, before I knew it all I could see was a bright light and I could no longer feel any pain

Rey's P.O.V.

I knew the planet was crumbling but I couldn't think about that, I couldn't believe what had just happened, I just got him back and now I lost him... I eventually decided to pick up the sabre's and make my way back to y ship, I had to find a way to bring him back whatever the cost, I needed him I love him and now I feel empty without him. When I arrived at my ship I looked over at his tie fighter and quickly decided to see I he left anything there... I found his cloak and decided to take it with me, I quickly left the planet and made my way back to the resistance.

I arrived an climbed out of the x-wing, I looked around at everyone cheering for the win and crying over the losses, but I could help but think of one person and that was ben. I make my way through the crowd and finally see Poe and Finn, I just stare at them, they smile t the sight of me as I walk over and hug them, we stood there hugging each other in tears.

That night I spent my time reading every Jedi text trying to find a way to bring Ben back, I closed my eyes and tried to sense him in the force but I couldn't, there  was nothing, no trace of his ghost, no force signature, nothing...

After 5 months I still couldn't find anything and I began to fall down a dark path, darkness in me was awake, the side I was scared of was awake, I eventually decided to do something I never thought I would do, I joined the remaining survivors of the first order...
