CHAPTER 16

IT HURTS for Lily too. She knows it's for her own good. She needs to stay away from people who would hurt her.

Jaydon broke her trust. And when he told her that he loves her, Lily doesn't know if she should believe it or not.

It's not easy for her too, she thought about it. It might be selfish but she still needs to do it.

"Lily please, don't. Just give me another chance.. just one chance that's all I'm asking.." Jaydon was trying to stop his tears but he failed.

Lily smiled sadly and shaked her hear. Her tears are still flowing. "I don't think you deserve it Jaydon. I'm sorry.."

Jaydon went towards her and hugged her. He hugged her so tight that he doesn't want to let go.

"Please Lily, I promise I won't waste it. Just give me one chance.. please."

Lily pushed Jaydon a little and cupped his cheek. She looked straight into his eyes.

"I want to, but I can't. My decision is final. Please leave Jaydon.." Lily continued crying.

She stepped back and finally left Jaydon. Lily ran to her room and layed on the bed.

She can't stop crying. She's hurt. While she was crying she felt someone sit on her bed.

"Lily.." It was her grandma.

"Stop crying, it's not good for you." Her grandma said but Lily continued crying.

"It hurts so m-much grandma.." She stuttered. It's the first time she talked to her grandma.

She heard her grandma sighed. "Sit down Lily.."

Lily followed and faced her grandma. Her tears won't stop flowing.

Her grandma spread her arms and hugged Lily. While Lily layed her head on her grandma's stomach.

"Everything will be fine Lily. It's okay, just let it all out, I'm here." Her grandma caressed her hair.

"You know what? I still remember your mom's first heartbreak. She cried for two days straight.." Her grandma chuckled.

Lily was able to calm down. She sniffed and stayed silent.

"She was so in love with her first boyfriend that she's willing to do everything for him to comeback. But then, she met your dad. She was happy again. They got married and they had you."

Lily looked at her grandma, "not only me. Also Lavender, my twin sister."

Her grandma smiled and nodded. "Yes, they had the both of you. By the way, do you want to see her?" Her grandma decided to change topic.

Lily's eyes widened and she nodded. "Yes, I miss her so much."

Her grandma smiled, but then it disappeared. "I also miss your twin. If only I didn't hurt you, then she didn't leave."

Lily gaped at her grandma. She remembered it again. How they abused her. The pain she felt, she will never forget it.

But Lily decided to forgive her.

"Grandma, it's been years. I already forgave you. But, I just don't get it. Why do you have to hurt me like that?" Lily was holding back her tears. She doesn't want to cry anymore.

Her grandma was shocked. She didn't expect Lily to forgive her. What she did was unforgivable.

"I only did that because, I don't want you to enter our world. The miserable and dangerous world that we entered. I knew how dangerous it is. But I hurt you instead. It was so selfish of me Lily." Her grandma smiled sadly.
