-Zayn's Point of View-

I was walking and I got caught behind the other three. I saw them move a different way, but kept walking The same direction.

I understood why when I fell into a ditch. I let out a manly, maybe not so manly squeal as I fell into the dirty hole.

None of the others seemed to hear me as I fell. Which is quite strange because of our super extra amazing hearing.

But, whatever.

I groaned as I hit the bottom. The hole wasn't to deep. It went a couple inches above my head. I stretched my arms and gripped the edge.

I swiftly pulled myself up and out of the hole and I wiped my hands on my jeans. A perfectly good pair of jeans ruined. I should quit buying such expensive jeans. They always get ruined.

I walked at a humanly pace to where the voices of my fellow vampires lead.

There's one vampire I miss and one I didn't expect to see.

Harry has been 'missing' for a few weeks now. We weren't that close, like him and Liam, but we were close enough.

I felt as if Harry was my younger brother. In human years, it would be true. He is technically eighteen and I'm technically twenty.

But in vampire years, he's older. Harry's fifty-eight. I'm fourth-two. We're young for vampires, especially for Louis' one hundred and twenty-one. Liam pulls in at thirty and Niall at twenty-six. Niall is obviously the youngest one.

Niall was only changed because he's Liam's mate. His only One for all eternity.

I rolled my eyes. I hate all this bullshit. There's one person for you forever. Only one.

"You're eyes keep changing color from green, blue, and red you dumb ass," I heard a very familiar female voice say.

I jogged the rest of the way.

"I know that. I'm being cautious in case you're a threat. " Louis explained. There was a short haired girl there.

"So, you all manage to bypass a fucking ditch and I fall in it?" I said annoyed.

"Sorry," They apologized. The girl stared at me for literally two seconds before her face lit up.

She ran at full vampire speed into me.

Had I not have vampire strength, I would've been thrown halfway out of the forest.

"Guys, we need to get going!" Niall yelled. Louis and Liam nodded. "Zayn?"

"I'll catch up with you all later. Tell me how it goes will ya?" I replied.

Me and Perrie walked, more like ran, away. I made sure to miss the ditch this time.

When we finally stopped, I pulled her into my arms. I rested my head on top of her a sighed in contentment. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

"Alright Zayn, let a me go," she said, struggling against me. I playfully strengthened my hold on her.

Perrie stuck out her arm and flicked her wrist. Suddenly a flock of birds came towards me. I yelled and let her go. Perrie doubled over in laughter and flicked her wrist again. All the birds disappeared.

She wiped her eyes.

"Phew," she whistled. I rolled my eyes.

'What the hell was that?" I asked.

"I'm a Conjurer after all Zayn. I found out a way to control my powers," she said, and looked down.  I put my fingers under her chin and lifted her head, forcing her to look at me.

"Is that why you left? Because you thought you weren't a Conjurer," I wondered. She nodded her head once.

"Kind of," she mumbled. I looked at her weirdly. "I left because I was scared of my feelings for you. And because I thought I never would be able to control my powers."

"Oh Pez," I whispered. She wiped away a tear.

"I do love you Zayn. I truly do," she told me honestly. I smiled at her.

"I love you too Perrie."

"I'm sorry for leaving and not coming back for a long time," she apologized.

"Five years," I told her. She sighed.

"It took that long just to control my powers. I didn't want to come back until I had them under control. I couldn't make the mistake of accidently hurting you again," she explained.

I nodded. About six years ago when me and Perrie were together, we were cooking in the kitchen and I realized I didn't have any knives. She tried to conjure one, And it stabbed me unintentionally. I was fine, she just never got over it.

"Pez, babe, I told you it was fine. You didn't mean too. I know this. Quit shooting yourself about it. I'm still standing here. You have nothing guilty to feel about," I said to her softly.

Perrie smiled at me. I instantly smiled back. She rested her head on my shoulder.

"I'm glad I came back. I was thinking about not coming back," she admitted.

"Why?" I asked. She grunted.

"It was good to see my family. My brother and sister were finally changed," she said. (A/N: I have no clue about her siblings. She's got a brother right?)

"I see. That's good."

"But I'm happy to be back because I missed you so much," she said, resting her chin over my shoulder. I wrapped my arms tighter around her.

I was ecstatic she came back. I have loved her since she was eighteen. Her family is one of the rare families that are just vampires. They have children before they turn and then the children get turned when they're eighteen. Perrie and her siblings are the last generation in her family. Except her sister had a child at sixteen.

"You know, you should kiss me as a proper hello," Perrie randomly suggested. I happily complied and leaned down after she pulled away slightly and pressed my lips to hers.
